The series too old nvr watch before.. Best series of all time "Gundam Seed Destiny!"

Bought this from Hobby Search for 2700yen and ems courier cost 1100yen, not so bad la i have been toying with d idea to get MG F91 but lazy to assemble as i've got the harisson version already and checked the review a few weeks prior to this..
Managed to convinced myself to get my first RD due to lack of time to assemble kits and increased level of laziness
D figure is of good quality, not bad...also notice that it's one of those few RD that comes with articulation points for the foot ("toe" movement)..
Tempted to get RD Nu too as i think it has the best proportion of all Nu figures and kits but since it's an older version, zero foot articulation apart from the ankle

Now that you talk abt it, i juz notice tat as well it's my fav gundam and the "first" that actually got me into gundam world after seeing its cartoon at my cousin's hse back in early 90s

Bro, don't start with "best" if you haven't watch all the series... you are asking for a whooping by the vets here

right now, as for me, the definitive Nu is the ver ka i could never look at any other Nu the same way after being poisoned by katoki's latest design.. simply too awesome.. only nitpick is he doesn't have the proper insignia on his shield.. the rest is okay with me the proportions are just amazing on this fella

I was initially poisoned by Nu ver Ka but one d actual product's out, notice tat it's only less "fat" compared with d older MG...
Front skirts r a bit too huge n body still look a bit 'big'...prefer d slimmer version similar to MG Strike Remaster, gundam alex n GP01...juz my personal taste

it's also taller, i think? very streamlined design, just that his overall look, his arms look a bit thin and stick-ish
the front skirts are okay IMO.. and the full decaled unit looks to be pretty good.. i'll snap some pics to attempt to poison you when i'm done with the decals

not trying to bash on your personal preference here though, just sharing my opinion each release is definitely a hit and miss for different people.. as for me, the complexity and the intricacy of the engineering has really gotten to me, and i think it's worth every cent

Did you guys know that there is a metal conversion kit for Nu ver ka which cost a "bomb"??

No worries u can poison me all u want but won't succeed, I guess n hope
Model kit wise, I think d best proportion for me is d hguc version which is acceptable coz it's slim enuf

wow everything needs glue for the conversion kit

and nu ver ka, or any ver. ka kit for that matter, is the definition of decal hell (for gundams.. i will not go into other series or i'd be proven wrong )

Unfortunately you're quite mistaken there. RD F91 is the older one since it is a re-release, 1st released back in April 2010. I have one.
Nu is the newer release in 2012.

Really? Damn bandai....they downgraded Nu's foot from F91's type...i guess it's to save cost

Yup.. Since its not bandai it's very hard to predict it will turn out as good like the pictures..unless someone had tried it..
