Would like to know, did you get separate CL or combined CL in the end? From what I see right now, my Watami few months already and just applied New Aeon Card last month and it has a combined CL..and they didn't even increase the CL...  shakehead.gif

guys. anyone tried oversea transactions with watami?

my aeon visa is giving me amazing exchange rate that is lower than rates published in visa website even at 0% admin fee.

example i made a transaction on 10/11 at new zealand which was only posted on 11/11. i can see the effective rate been 2.655 while the rate for myr to nzd is about 2.66+ for both dates at visa website!

this is amazing if the same rate applies fot watami which offer 3% rebates

planning to get watami card to replace my ocbc titanium

btw, currently i already have ocbc titanium and mbb 2 amex and my income was just about 33k.

by refering to BNM, is it true that i could not hold more than 2 CC (<36k)?
can i apply watami now and cancel my ocbc later? i wonder they will reject the application

or i should apply watami after i cancel my ocbc? basically how long will aeon know that i already cancel 1 CC, and could approve my application?

another question,
is there any payment limit for bill payment to aeon credit service via internet banking?

for counter payment, the nearest i can get is only mid valley, is it really open until 6pm for payment? sad.gif other branch seems like can paid for whole operation hour

how is the CDM in mid valley branch? only 1 machine? will it always down?

7. 3% Quarterly Cash Rebate
Enjoy 3% quarterly cash rebate on total retail transactions outside WATAMI with accumulate spend of RM3,000 per quarter. The accumulated spend amount is inclusive of Supplementary Card spending. Rebate is capped at RM150 per quarter and rebate will be credited into the Principal Card account.

Some questions regarding this clause.

1. If I autodebit my insurance with this card for RM1000 monthly, it means I will get 3% x RM3000 = RM90 for every quarter. Is this correct?

2. If I make transactions (outside Watami, except petrol) such as astro payment, dining, groceries at any time (weekday/weekend), I will get 3% cash back (max RM150 per quarter). Is this correct?

Alright, got it.

I found that there are some discussion on payment method? For example, no 5. Payment via IBG using Public Bank Online Banking, the image shows that the beneficiary bank is Citibank? Is it possible to pay using cimbclicks IBG?

Also, 4. AEON charges RM1 as fee. Eg. You pay RM100.00 via Maybank2U, amount receive in AEON is RM99.00 only.
So if my balance is RM150, I need to put RM151 as IBG?

Thanks

Correct for both questions.
The quarter calculation IS NOT CALENDAR Quarter.... but based on your Card Anniversary Date (shown on your AEON WATAMI statement)

I have gone thru all pages biggrin.gif Still have 2 questions:
QUOTE
1 Enjoy free dessert voucher upon application.
So we just pass the application form to the Aeon counter and we will get the voucher in hardcopy? What is the $ value?

QUOTE
2 Enjoy RM 50 WATAMI Dining Rebate when you charge any 2 retail transactions of any amount to your card within 60 days from card approval date. This dining rebate will be offset against your next transaction(s) in WATAMI based on the amount charged to your card including Supplementary Card spend in WATAMI.
The dining rebate will be credited into your card account in the following month statement.
Once we fulfill the 2 transaction condition, we can go to dine at WATAMI but the RM50 rebate will only be credited in the next statement. In other words, for the first dining, we have to pay in full?

Thanks
