Most GaGa owners are fresh grads. Within this price range, affordable for new worker in the society, regardless sponsored by their parents or they own it by themself. Therefore, repair & maintenance goes up to thousand would have been outragesly bad for most GaGa owner. I don't blame them, neither Plotong. If wanna blame, blame the society. Its being made to con college geek(ayam not particularly pointing @ unoehu I'm talking about). It feels like even minor oil leak for a young punk, as soon as he/she walks in the workshop it will turned to be major issue that "cost" them a bomb to repair. U & I both know very well rubber o ring is wear & tear item. It somehow will wear off regardless how careful u drive. The cost of replacement usually as cheap as buying an o ring to replace water tap seal. But the problem is, does the general public aware of this? I don't think so. It all boil down to "LOW MENTALITY" someone mentioned previously. Not only GaGa owner, its the perception of owning a cheap car, it "WILL" give problem. Try to ask a Dugong owner & a GaGa owner, how much he/she overhauled the engine? The answer is the same - RM1500. However, the reaction wld be totally different. Dugong owner will happily answered as very cheap & affordable, whereas GaGa owner will give an ultra frustrating face saying crap Plotong built lousy stuff that cost so much to repair. Reason being? Bought a 80k car, repair 1.5k is cheap; bought a 1/2 80k car, repair 1.5k is totally unacceptable |

Engine oil merely affect FC, unless u wrongly put in diesel grade 25w60, that's another story. Plotong suggested viscosity 30 & above, so anything w30 & or above will do.

QUOTE(cokelatstroberi @ Jan 23 2013, 01:02 AM) Hi I m new here...pls guide me I'm sorry to hear your loss. Will have to ask sh@rty5 see whether got ADD ON module for the standard alarm. I however believe changing entire set of alarm system would have been much economical than adding module to the standard alarm. The problem is, 2009 onwards, GaGa were installed with immobilizer. So, even if you change alarm, you'll have to use the original big ass key because the immo chip is stored inside the key. If any sorhai irresponsible accessories shop tell you can take out the immo key code chip, stick the chip at the dashboard, you can ask them fuck themself, by doing that will speed up wear & tear of your fuel pump. So, you think about it first lar. If really MUST have the shock sensor and there's no other way to add on the standard alarm, you'll have to live with the huge ass Plotong key with immo chip + extra bundle of remote control unit like me btw..for an intro..Im using Saga BLM SE... I have a question here about the standard alarm system of my saga.. as my car just been broken for 2 times..this month.. yet the alarm doesnt work.. i mean..yes if i lock the car and i try open it from inside it will buzzing.. but if it was just broken, wont it giv some "shock " to it ..it wont buzzing or wat?? get what i mean?? can u guys suggest what should i do? just starting back my life from bottom again.. so..is there any suggestion or idea to install any good/useful alarm than the standard 1..that is affordable to me.. and probably for other users too... as not everyone are rich enough to earn everything easily..right? |

QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ Jan 23 2013, 02:03 AM) true enough that it would be more economical to change the entire set of alarm Price for Viper + alarm remote reprogram how marchie regarding the immo issue, in some cases , we took the chip out and throw it in our new alarm control ( not on a Saga ) another method , not so practical , dont flame me » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(kokhing520 @ Jan 23 2013, 06:31 AM) ok this is my post.. Cum listen listen listen,
Plotong set 1k, 5k & 10k free servis is meant for furture warranty purposes. Its not about void or no void warranty, is about maintain the new engine clean to avoid FUTURE complication. Why 1k servis? Its bcoz all engine parts are new, during this run in period, there will be lots of grinding inside the engine, as metal surface rubbing happened, expect metal dust mixed in the engine oil(so as gear oil). So, after 1k run in period your oil filter will be suckalot with metal dust liao hence the 1k servis is applied. 5k will be the same reason, so as 10k. Maintain engine cleaniness in the early stage can avoid many complication in future, such as hutan bakar white smoke/black smoke. For me, I dun really care whether its semi synthetic or fully synthetic. Avoid metal dust is more critical |
