I was about to post my comment to their advert in Creative Homes, however after I submitted, it says 'awaiting moderation/approval'. So I guess my comments to them will never make it to reader's knowledge at all. Here's my comments to post on their advert....

The following serves an information for some of you guys who ever considered Signature Kitchen at the first place..

Signature Kitchen is a big NO NO for me even with the budget I have. I first walked in to the TTDI branch.. Noone came to assist me and my husband. The staffs were busy chatting among themselves at the table, so I had to call for help from one of them!! Dealt with Rachel who didn't look too happy at first (that's fine, cos I probably interrupted their interesting conversation - but I still think that's not how it should be as I feel they should at least greet customers with a HI or WELCOME). About Rachel - she didn't bother to explain much about any products to me when I asked about the different table top materials, etc. But I remember her pointing to my MYvi car parked outside, saying 'It's just like buying a car, depending on the money you invest, that shall be the quality you get'. Fine - fair point! But in my opinion I think it was rude to begin with; whether she has said that intentionally or not. Then she copied our floor plan and said will get back with a quote in 2 weeks. I called back once or twice after 3 weeks, but she was always out for fair or had an appointment. I left my number each time with her colleagues so she could call me back - but never did she. I called a few more times for status updates, even leaving my number, my husband's number... still nothing from them. That's when I decided THAT'S IT! Until I saw this advert from Signature Kitchen that says “professional consultancy”, it starts boiling my blood again. I decided to call to their hotline to let them know how disappointed I was with their service. Spoke to the product manager apparently, who said he will investigate this matter and get back to me in 2 days. FYI, it's been more than 2 weeks now, but I'm still not hearing from anyone yet. I'm really curious to find out what has happened to my floor plan and quote - I seriously don't need their service anymore now that I've engaged another, but all I want to hear back is to understand what exactly has happened – did they really think I can’t afford their kitchens?!
Would you even dare to think what will be the after-sales service like, say your BLUM soft close mechanism doesn't work as expected, so on and so forth?? So, need I say more?

Seriously Signature Kitchen, regardless of how good your product may be, if the service is going to be like this, trust me, one of the days YOU will lose out to all YOUR competitors. It's no wonder people say YOUR sales representatives get enough commission by just closing 3 deals of RM50,000 each in a month, so there's no need of more customers. I guess that's very true..

Good sharing. Really hates those cocky seller that look down on customers. Shame on that branch for hiring lousy quality staff. Small companies also can do awesome job.

I supposed you were unlucky to get this particular staff to serve u. I have used them before but i signed up during a home fair. The guy who served me was pretty good and responsible and always picked up my calls. On their quality and workmanship, I generally do not have issues, met my expectations. But in hindsight the price i paid was of course much higher than if i were to engaged other carpenters.

I also went to SIgnatuer Kitchen to their factor/showroon in Kota Dsara. The service i got was great. Cappucino and bsicuits while discussing my plan. The whole quotation received was RM 42k (which scared me) then was informed can get good discount during Homedec in KLCC. SO i packed my wife and baby went to Klcc early in teh morning to avoid crowd and tehy gave me a RM1,300 discount. Was so dissapointed used another KC provider about RM 12 k less . Wasted my time only smile.gif
They are ridiculosly priced.

They either have too good business, or if your kitchen is small that they know they can't make a lot of profit out of you.

But why sig kitchen , to me they're just some overprice kitchen contractor.

good point. i was wearing short n sliper when i went to new house show unit. most of them just ignored me (perhap i look like a student) until here come a sale lady who attended to me and showed me a smile face and never looked down on me. i was happy with her service. after a day of consideration, i decided to buy the unit which is worth more than half a million. so i went back to sales gallery and looked for her. but she was on leave tat day. then i left and went back again the next day just to look for her to seal the purchase as im happy tat she earn the commission from my purchase.

actually from my last time experience, those ppl dont look like rich ppl are the most good customer cos normally they come as real custermer(will purchase) cos if not they wont come. for those look like rich ppl, wear smart smart ask lots of junk question like they know everything and show the rich attitude end up waste the sales person time only....muahahah!!!
sorry no offence just base on my few years experience as sales person...haha

Totally agree with you guys. Service is everything in that industry but sadly its quite lacking.
Considered signature kitchen but for the price i got quoted and i even had to look for a sales person to attend to my enquiries i honestly doubt i would ever again consider their services.

I hv engage Unity Kitchen for my KC.I hv to say that I got enough attention although both Erny n Patrick are super busy.I value my time n I can tell u that they are quite punctual n take effort to drive all the way to Cyberjaya several times to measure. They are quite patient with the changes I make.
However,I hv yet to complete my whole KC journey! All I can say is so far so good!
If they manage to complete my KC satisfactory... I will share my review here!!
Wish me luck...

But signature kitchen design is very nice. Though their price is expensive, was wondering whether other carpenter can copy the design with much lower price?

Saw their advertisements on Astro a few times. Apparently this company is from Singapore. Never crossed my mind to look for them cause I know they are definitely expensive. Out of my range.

Btw, I drive Kelisa, and also wear bermudas and t-shirt. Went to Sri Petaling SenQ and HLK a week back, walked-in, look-see, walked-out, no one entertained us. All sales persons were talking among themselves. Maybe they are thinking, "Poor old man, sure won't buy anything" Lol. Good service is rare in Malaysia. They either follow me like a hawk, or totally ignore me, not sure which is better.

Yeah agree ikea design is also quite nice. Somemore with 25 years warranties but their price r not cheap either. Small kitchen for condo can easily set you back more than 10k. Needless to say if your kitchen size is big like link house or superlonk.

Go for a smaller 1. Big 1 don't offer much. From discount till service.
