I understand from TCM there's no CKD plans.

Besides, I would avoid a TCM CKD, it will be a tin kosong.
*
U sure? My friend say, he got ppl working in TCM saying that TCM Planing to ckd this serena but maybe they will take out the hybrid function. They are now working on the cost and got ppl suggest RM 180K. dont know if its true or not rclxub.gif

Which is roomier - biante or serena??
*
When biante lunch at 1 Utama, I went and have a look there. I feel that Serena room leg are better than Biante. I feel serena are roomier than Biante (maybe because of the high roof). I am 5'9" tall. I try seat at the 2nd roll and driver seat. I feel its smaller compare with serena. For Serena I seat at the last roll still very comfortable. Its my personal view only.

tehqy, you will not regret. I love this car from day 1 I receive it. FC is good and you buy now you get full Spec. Value for money. oh ya my interest from TC Capital 2.38% 3 yrs loan,

QUOTE(tehqy @ Dec 24 2013, 11:11 AM)
Thank yo Siang Lee, and Jack for the feedback, I guess I can't just compare the current one with the facelift model if I want the current price that they offer. Well, it's good to talk to people sometimes to make a better informed decision. I'll just go with the current model. I've been holding on this big purchase for 3 years now, and don't think my old faithful (Iswara 1.3) can tahan anymore. Checked with my mechanic, the next service is going to cost around RM3000 due to overhaul and driveshaft change (making noise), so took the opportunity to upgrade to a family car, now can drive 3 kids and grandparents without cramping smile.gif the tradin cost is RM2000 for the old car (1998)...I think a new iPad is more expensive then my old faithful now... smile.gif
oh, and to Pg84, I did check out Estima 2008 model, superb looking car and driving experience is also good, was quoted RM140k++ but after considering with the same amount I can get a new car and lower roadtax, so in the end, I choose "value for money" over a 6 year old MPV + the class and style of it... (I really like the spaceship design...hahaha)...

btw, anyone can comment on the bank interest? is 2.41 and 2.48 lowest in the market?

Maybe you can try buy those tyre repair kit that the tyre shop use to repair leak? I buy 1 set d and its easy to use. Just take out the nail and poke in the sticky thing. the use the car pump to pump it back. I try before. its fast and easy.
Tyre still holding till now. The set you can buy at Aeon or hardware store. less than RM20 and come with 5 stick repair sticky thing. biggrin.gif

Gee!! Thank you so much and surely this is a good option.

Based on your experience, it is not so difficult afterall. And, do you need to take out the whole tyre and poke in the sticky thing?
*
yup i done that before. Its easier when you take out the tyre. you need to push very hard. remember have to pump the tyre up to 3.5bar and then remove the nail, put the tyre between your both leg and push in the sticky thing. You need to push in very very very hard to half way twist and pull back out. Just like the tyre repair men do.

But hor then if tyre hit nail actually you can you can pump it back to 3.2bar, it can last some few hours. then you can directly go to tyre shop to repair lor. If you scare, then every 30min drive stop to top up air to tyre. As long as the nail still in the tyre it will deflate slowly. icon_rolleyes.gif I ask my wife to do that when she have a flat tyre. I buy a pump and put it into her car and teach her how to use it. Its work.

Black is out of stock... so is purple i think...

got mine pearl white with free navigation (all is free now)..

i add RM700 for the roof mount lcd. and hefty discount on tinting with Windscreen brand and visor.. not too shabby but good work. all done by SA. i can say about 50% off from what you can get outside.

on discount, i got RM9k discount given by branch... but this is not guaranteed given.

the fuel voucher i gave to SA since the discounts i've got with accessories already more than 10k.
*
Wow, RM 9K Discount!!! ohmy.gif lesson learn. Dont ever be 1st batch buyers at Nissan. a year ago, we 1st batch buyer only get RM500 discount and free navigation set. cry.gif
