very hard already considering your criteria, perhaps can consider Yokohama c drive 2?
less performance (especially wet, just drive slower ya) than ps3, less treadwear, however NVH/comfort should be better smile.gif

Yup, will consider that tyre, my father's car is changing into C Drive 2 soon, i can get to test it laugh.gif and make decision.. The tyre wear on the focus is more compared to my other car ( probably due to the weight and torque ), if using PS3 i think 30k km need to change tyre already rclxub.gif

Well it's treadwear rating 300 anyway to give excellent grip as they're UHP class tires. Should last until 50-60k kms depending on driving style which is acceptable provided the performance level they give. Some tires even have less treadwear rating such as Toyo T1S & Yokohama Advan Sport at 240 rating only. If you want long lasting tires then should go with rating of >400 which will be lower class performance wise. So there's always a trade-off. smile.gif

Even faster wear off can try 140 treadwear which is lowest treadwear for street tyre laugh.gif

If you wanna drive fast you need to train your eyes to be able to spot obstacles faster, and make sure you have good fast reflexes to avoid those. If cannot, then don't drive fast, especially in unfamiliar roads.

215/45 is also rather thin already (sidewall <10cm), so more prone to getting damaged by obstacles. Better change to one with >10cm sidewall if still within the tolerance.
