this is why htc thread so quite ni.. because not much problem on 8x / 8s.

the more ppl post meaning more issue appear so other user can take note discuss because it might happen to them one day.

nokia 920 reboot halfbrick is serious problem, everyone will SURE 100% kena!! only matter of time!!

sad, my 920 still under Warranty for the 2nd time, 8x still working without any issues.

WE read all sorts of bad things about a product online because only the ones with faulty ones complain. Those without problems which is the majority, only keeps quiet. 9 weeks into using the 920 i dont have a single issue so far, only the music playback sometimes have cracking sound (like the sounds you hear from playing a corrupt music file), and it only occurs when when i repeat the same song over and over again over 3 times. I just stop the song and play it and the issue is gone.

depend on my usage ..1 day if standby + minor whatsapp ...if run nokia drive+ HSPA ...5 hours can fly kite already

I'm on portico since the day I bought, flashed it straight away. No random reboots.

Battery life when I turn on 3G data, 15 hours if I don't really use it, 10 hours if use to check facebook and internet every now and then. However, when 3G is turned off, I think I can get 2 days using WiFi.



This is 55% left and it says 1 day + more, theoretically, 100% will give me about 2 days+. Took this pic 1 hour and half ago, now battery is at 52%. 3% per hour, for 100% you get about 33 hours.

If you're wondering why 9 hours down to 50%, I was out of my home and on 3G data for about 5 hours.
Conclusion, on WiFi, about 3% per hour and 3G is about 7-10% per hour.
Some things that I discovered::
1. Turn off your network data if on WiFi network, unlike android or ios, the data is still connected as a fall back plan in case WiFi has no internet connectivity.

2. I uninstalled Whatsapp due to its weird way of polling data using Music API to keep the phone awake. This way, the phone NEVER enters to deep sleep.

i have compared few weather apps and this seems to be the best of all!

nonetheless, you can try for 3 days before purchase.
