I read somewhere in this forum where someone did something to his lumia 920 to get impressive battery life. His method was making an outlook email and set it up in wp8. Then, link other email accounts such as yahoo, hotmail and gmail to the outlook account. The reason why he did not use normal gmail setup was because gmail will constantly reading to the server even though it has been closed. I did not fully understand it either but it surely works! Before applying this method, my max battery life as stated in battery info was 16 hours. Surprisingly after doing the outlook method it increase to 1 day and 12 hours. That's a very big difference i must say. Another thing is turn the screen brightness to low. Hope this helps.
My phone can last for 1 day plus now, so I did not try this method.
Note 2 & Lumia 920 are my options but I choose Lumia 920 eventually. There is no perfect phone, it is just about which phone is more suitable to me. But what I can tell you is I love my Lumia 920.
Nice. Not many people choose Lumia over Note 2. I was using a 3.5' screen phone all along, and i have the habit to use phone with just 1 hand so Note is a bit too big for me. Lumia 920's width is like the limit ady, also struggle a bit when using the phone with just 1 hand. Took me quite a while to get used to the size when i was using small phones before that.
With 1-hand, I guess you are using your thumb to tap & type ? Wow.
just wondering guys, did you guys receive the warranty card in your box? i just bought a Avaxx warranty Lumia 920 but there wasn't any warranty card inside.
the warranty is on the last page of the guide book.
Haha, Umobile is much cheaper. RM28 plan and add-on RM 8 , it's 200 sms + 80 min talktime + 1 GB data. It's using Maxis service and i can get 2 - 7 mbps on my iPhone.
I thought the add on is for SMS and talk time only?

‘As we reach for the Sky’, a Danish band, have recorded their latest video using a Nokia Lumia 920.
The video was recorded by Anders Øvergaard, who normally uses a professional rig with a Canon D5.
He notes the Nokia Lumia 920 have him 2 unique features – the great low-light responsiveness which meant he did not have to install special lighting rigs, and the optical image stability, which allowed him to still have smooth video while moving around the studio recoding the band.
