But from what I can see, the Renault's paintjob is much better. At least its paint is much more shiny. Btw, you can get these at a toy shop in BTS, near McDonald's.

Looking at the picture, the tampo and the liveries are all the same with the Hot Wheels model... and Hot wheels is cheaper too....

Jackygwh : If you got money buy the Toyota also because it is very rare same like the McLaren. Jaguar, Ferrari, Renault & Williams (models by Hot Wheels) are very common.

f1 toys damn expensive becos of the livery lor... all RM100++ last time got collect.. now bo liao. bo $$$

Only the body of the car is made of steel. The under-part, exhaust, rims, wings, chimneys, wishbones and suspension are all made of plastic. But still, there are some details which differs from the real car like the color of the chimney, which is supposed to be black. The color of the exhaust is ermm, not right. Also, the sidepod only has the word "Kimi" written. The word "Raikkonen" written in cursive is missing . Obviously, the model of the mp4-19 at Tag Heuer show room is much more detailed. But still, the quality for this one is satisfying considering its in the rm100+ category

Actually there's a lot of these die casts everywhere. I found some fw26, the Williams with the walrus-like nose cone, 2004 Jaguar, 2004 Jordan etc etc. All from Hotwheels.

Yeah the details are great for a rm100+ die cast. But for some reason, the artwork on the R25 is much better than the MP4-20. The livery on the R25 is very much the same compared to the real thing. Besides, the paint on the R25 model is much more shiny than the MP4-20. The wings alone show that Hotwheels put more detail on the R25 model. The wings, both front and back, has a fine gap between the wing layers. While on the MP4-20, the wings are actually a single piece

The last time i got the renault from parkson, it was rm119.90. But if u buy somewhere else, it should be more than that. I bought the mclaren from a toy store and its rm10 more. Btw, is there a Montoya version for the mp4-20?

the RM100+ versions that you guys are referring, are they the hotwheels model? supposedly the minichamps ones are more detailed and higher quality than the hotwheels one. ive been looking around for the minichamps kimi MP4-20 lately in KL but no luck u guys know where i can get the minichamps 1/18 models? last i checked they were around RM200+, much pricier than the hotwheels version. thnx!

btw, minichamps will be releasing the MP4-21 later during the year, lookins effing awesome plus they willl also be launching limited edition orange mclaren testing cars too!

yes, the hot wheels version, and imho they are as good as the pricier minichamps models. So far i never seen last year car made by minichamps in KL, but if you are looking for the 90's F1 cars by minichamps, you can find it at Nikko MV.

Just now walked through all those shop , just found one shop in Times square , fifth floor , got one shop selling hotwheels F1 2005 Cars , found Ferrari , Mclaren , Renault , and Williams . Other nope . Looks quite detail . Haven't seen minichamp's .

usually minichamps will release quite late almost end of the season..Hotwheels will be fast around British GP..how good the models look like will depends on how well they do the MP4-21..Minichamps also have increased their price for those new models...

i usually check at website then look for it locally..but minichamps models are hard to find here and rare..can try at KLCC..hotwheels are easier..too expensive to buy online as the currency conversion is high and the delivery charges is killing ppl too..

btw, i don think kch market for die cast is big, its very very very diificult to find an f1 car which is according to our choice... although there is a shop in tun jugah is said to specialize in die cast, the stocks are very limited. the tauke even say there will be no new stocks until the end of august!!! this means that the f1 cars placed at there are stll the same, still the same old drivers and teams... sigh!

i got find one individual hobby shop in KL in the internet but it only sells figures... so its not in my interest... the shop is called SHIOK TOYS...
