i make cucumber for my oto. waaa so hungry meh. first float. then i beat a bit using chopstick and tweezer to get the air out from the cucumber. then not float. oto eat the cucumber.

but maybe boil not enuf long the cucumber not soft so much yet.

yes have anti algae but if u plant moss in there, i cannot be sure they will survive or will die too.

my anubias once have dark algae at edge of the leaf. until my oto eat them all.

for java moss i have same problem. even the one that tiet with DW. but at the outside tempayan green n lush. donno why.

misconception about fish that eat poo is normal when we always label the bottom feeder as the poo eater fish. i dont think there is any fish that wanna eat poo as their diet.

but if you wanna try, try shrimp ghost + well recycled + planted tank. coz i never change my water with poo in it. just water to reduce nitrate. but the substrate is clean. as far as i can see of coz.

ya i think have some shortage too. my lfs not have them already. before this i buy my shrimp there.

ps. i think my shrimp gang eat my dead guppy. one of my guppy dead yesterday. donno what happen. the temp is ok, shrimp ok, oto ok, nitrate ok, maybe old age. donno. i dont even know the dead until my sister said one of my guppy is dead. but never trace any dead fish in the aquarium.

how u counter the algae and the water temp. outdoor means will get the sunlight rite?
