if only using hanging tray and the root middle of the water, im afraid they will lack of nutrient. but depent on the plant. if still wanna do that, maybe the water must be in slow current. just like duckweed or any floating plants nature. if not, the root cant catch the nutrient

QUOTE(kiminha @ Mar 3 2013, 01:31 AM) Hi, its ok even if you are overdosing because at the end of the week you will reset it by doing 50% WC. However if you feel uncomfortable, you can reduce the super K dosing with the dry ferts. The table that i've given to you is also a guideline bro. If your plant mass is 50%, you can also reduce the dry fertz dose by 50%. ok thanks for the info

can anyone tell me type of this plant? i donno what type of it. the old leaf, is green. but the new leaf all red-yellow-orange with black dotted. lack of nutrient or its the really color of it?
this is not water submerged moss. normal-land moss. but this top of the DW, sometimes submerged, sometimes top of the water. and the moss is growing. i think its ok. right now submerged. give the mirror effect.

im using adapter to change it to DC cause of security reason.
i dont think using cold water from freezer is a good solution coz will triggered suddent change in water temp.
i have try to put some ice at top of the tank, then the water will drip by drip insert the tank, yes, can lower the temp bit by bit but only last about 1 hour.

QUOTE(ieR @ Mar 6 2013, 07:39 PM) syafiq_lomotech: my mistake, i misunderstood/misread bout co2 topping. the water topping is normal, without fan, 1 week 1cm. with fan, 24hour 1.5cm hehehehe... going to do the fan test for another week, if its not suitable, then i might change to other method, since i need topping everyday, might as well make ice to cool the canister everyday. its my mistake too coz not quote the previous post hehe

QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Mar 6 2013, 08:52 PM) yes, you can use the pc heatsink. but you still need to make a modification. as referencebut for that 1, can only go as low as 24*c and only applicable for tank less than 2ft IINM. money.. how much is your budget?? http://www.shine7.com/aquarium/chiller.htmnice?
