RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN should support most of the 3G/4G modems too but I won't be using it for mobile broadband. For 802.11ac, it's too expensive for now. The cheaper ones are not that great, you might need to upgrade again in the future.

I'm currently using 150Mbps 802.11n to stream 1080p contents to my TV with Raspberry Pi running on Xbian. No much problem. Perhaps I'll consider 802.11ac when 4K contents becomes mainstream.  nod.gif

RB2011 is a powerful router if you know how to set to correctly.

it is normal for rooter to takes 3~5 min to fully dial your modem,

for network status wise, u might want to manual increase or decrease to find correct port either USB0/1/2  notworthy.gif
or you can directly go to support under modem tab and manual select it from there
*
Revert to Old version of Huntsman.... stable.

I like the old version, btw the latest version really have bug on 3g modem status/connection.

using Huntsman 2013-06-03 right now.

HiSilicon Chipset got big potential

Huawei new NCM protocol is very simple to dial but yet TP-LINK don't want to implement it doh.gif

HiSilicon able to detect QoS correctly
*
I'm using E398 why my QoS there is "-" ?

Just want to share here.

Apparently, my funny setup has able to increased the signal from 41% -> 54% . The setup is placed just beside the window to get a better signal.

So far, it helps reduce lag / disconnection and the most that i like is to get better D/U speed now.

Thanks for the tip on soya box. (Yeah, it's milo. lol )  icon_rolleyes.gif

btw what ver. of huntsman you used?

modem e3276, i think blacktubi using the yellow version which is Huntsman 2013-10-12

stock firmware i think no support e3276

p.s. : some huawei modem will feel hard to connect when you edited the 3g bands to find 2100Mhz only.

2013-10-16 iinm...its working flawlessly b4 2pm today..only after i add scheduled task start  problem.

Restore stock firmware then reflash huntsman didn't do the trick also

Not edited any thing for using single bands only
*
i also face that problem on 2013-10-16 add in auto ping at the schedule task.. then i revert the ver to old one..everything ok.

suggest you downgrade the version then upgrade back to the latest back... after that don't use the schedule task.

Downgrade > 2013-10-12....need to try connection or not?

Or simply downgrade then up grade?

Scratching head now
*
of course downgrade then test connection, but remember don't tick the "keep settings".
