RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN should support most of the 3G/4G modems too but I won't be using it for mobile broadband. For 802.11ac, it's too expensive for now. The cheaper ones are not that great, you might need to upgrade again in the future.

I'm currently using 150Mbps 802.11n to stream 1080p contents to my TV with Raspberry Pi running on Xbian. No much problem. Perhaps I'll consider 802.11ac when 4K contents becomes mainstream.

am using huntsman 15-9 date version on my TL-MR3420 V2 , so far so good

And the router takes around 3 minutes to boot completely and load everything

it is normal for rooter to takes 3~5 min to fully dial your modem,

for network status wise, u might want to manual increase or decrease to find correct port either USB0/1/2 
or you can directly go to support under modem tab and manual select it from there

10-12 works good for me

Huawei new NCM protocol is very simple to dial but yet TP-LINK don't want to implement it

Apparently, my funny setup has able to increased the signal from 41% -> 54% . The setup is placed just beside the window to get a better signal.

So far, it helps reduce lag / disconnection and the most that i like is to get better D/U speed now.

Already reset...try to restore stock firmware but link doesnt loading..

and just to note that openwrt-mr3420-v2-HM2013-11-10yellow have this bug

TP-Link MR3420v2 does not have USB power control on Yellow version.

its on the website

i prefer red, the yellow rooter dont work well with my E3276 though
