actually All rooter can dial,

u dont have to convert the modem into regular  modem at all,.

just follow steps below:

-reboot your router
-plugin your E3276 modem
- login LuCI web interface
- sign in
- go to modem Tab
- go to Custom
- paste the AT command ( provide by blacktubi : AT^SETPORT="A1,A2;10,12,16,13,A1,A2")
- click  submit
- wait for the submit done

* Key : you must paste the AT command FAST  whenever you ON/REBOOT the router , otherwise the rooter wont able to recognize which port is which port,. 
or you also can try TpLINK MR-3420 V2 latest beta firmware which support E3276 
-> Latest Beta Stock firmware 130314-FI

so far my E3276 dailing is good and stable in Rooter though



most important is the RSCP & ECIO,..

after you reflashed , it suppose to be brand new start,.. did u apply the AT command ? 

after reflashed, i didnt do anything other than enter AT COMMAND, and after click submit it dial the modem instantly ,. it worked flawlessly for me so far,. did reboot more than 10 times from then and still working fine,.

weird on your case 

Flash with the rooter 10-12

Dont do anything, plug in E3276 wait at least 5 minutes

Go network status see if it get any info

try to reboot router and paste AT COMMAND at custom and click submit

You mean rooter identifying?

everytime after you reboot, you need to paste the AT COMMAND since the rooter wont save this AT COMMAND in config file system log

If you dont do anything funny the port config will stay and wont reset itself

Sim swap no problem, anyway if next time dont want detect again just input the command, use putty like that day I TV you or key in at router also can.

i am planning to buy this router, but wondering does stock unit can read Huawei E3276 modem? i tried with my TL-MR3020, the device does not want to read the HuaWei E3276, keep looping at "Identifying"

So thinking if I buy this MR3420, will it work with it on stock firmware?

gastacopz, meaning once i buy i should flash the firmware to rooter and its done rite?

how long the connection is going before it disconnected ? 

did you enable the keep connection alive function under modem tab -> connection ?

So sad, bro rebooted many times, reset the device n reentry the setting.but same same so i tought if use original firmware can work right?

Get a 3meter USB 3.0 cable to hang the modem on the celling and plug the other end onto your router, btw, MR3420 is too weak for LTE Modem, atleast get a 1043ND which have RF shielded component on the inside to ward off signal interference from your other electrical devices.
