QUOTE(AtWork @ Mar 28 2013, 07:05 PM) Thank you Wahroonga Farm for posting this information.
I downloaded the Experimental BlackWidow Firmware. ...
The information displayed on the page of the router Network Status corresponds to information presented in the software USBModem. Thank you so much for posting that information. QUOTE(AtWork @ Mar 28 2013, 07:05 PM) I discovered a problem that already existed in the previous version and this remains. When I do Restore backup this does not backup the router's settings are used. Thanks for sharing and for the work. Cheers Interesting. I'll ask Dairyman. Cheers

Whenever i plug my usb modem (UMG1831) into my tl-mr3040 the lights keep blinking and i cant access the configuration page..... i tested them individually and it work fine. I called the tp-link hotline twice where the 1st CS suggested a modem incompatibility and 2nd just duno what is it. Both have some heavy accent which makes it hard to understand their english >< The 1st cs did gave me a software to create a bin file but i cant get it done due to some factors. Before calling them i have check the latest firmware and compatible list which mine is not there. Hopefully i am asking in the right section, is this a hardware problem with the router or just modem incompatibility? edited: problem solved when i read about someone else problem in the tp-link forum, where his router only works with battery. I figure it has to be something similar so i put in my battery and it works! next i put in the ac power and it works.... finally it was own stupidity that causes all this as apparently it need at least a min of 1.0A to work and i was being stubborn to power it up with a usb port..... there goes 1hr+ of my life This post has been edited by renishi: Apr 1 2013, 07:06 PM
