Perhaps can wait for a refresh on the Asus S300 hmm.gif
Otherwise its better to just go for a 14" ultrabook- mainstream = cheaper

the funny thing is, if you search his posts, he does know how to post in the garage sales section to look for deals. laugh.gif

by the way TJ, updates on the latest ASUS Zenbook price tag.
UX301LA-DE017H, i5-4200U + Intel HD4400 + 128GB SSD + (2560x1440; touch)@RM4499[1.4kg], 4GB, W8.1
UX301LA-DE016H, i7-4500U + Intel HD4400 + 256GB SSD + (2560x1440; touch)@RM5399p[1.4kg], 8GB, W8.1

price is confirmed RRP by Viewnet.
and to share and refine my hands on the Inspiron 7000 models again.

Inspiron 17 7000 has the most keyboard flex, 15 7000 is moderate, less on the 14 7000. typing on the keyboard experience is not good, as the key sinks are quite low, leaving less tactile feel.
for those buyers whom are curious about the screen of the 15 7000 with highest spec, i can reconfirm with Dell again that, it comes with full HD touch.

Dear Sifus:
Here is my recommendation. I highly recommend you all to recommend a laptop bundled with Windows operating system instead of FreeDos unless special request.

Also, can try recommend Office 365 university for students. It cost only Rm219.99 for 4years and come with many exciting features like larger skydrive storage and free Skype minutes.

By the way I am not affiliated with Microsoft, but this is not a good practice promote your so-called "pasar malam" version in the forum.

Thank you.

1. students and academicians can get cheap legal OS from school.
2. some users have un-dying love with their existing (and probably legal) W7 laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif
And FreeDOS spec most of the time come with really cheap models, so it probably tie back to poor students' demand laugh.gif
