QUOTE(zacharyseng @ Jan 6 2013, 12:26 AM) so u guys buy your groceries in bulk or just go supermarket to buy your thingz? Just bought 3 kg of chicken keel (all meat no bones) at Giant for RM 9.99 per kg (usually at RM 12.90). At wet market chicken breast (with bone and neck) cost for RM 10.50. So, it is a deal for mecause my pocket hole going bigger and bigger haha sucks to buy cans over cans of tuna and PB... and milk too let me know where u guy get the best deal for grocery ya? if got any hahaaha |

Just edited the Bluebay Tuna Nutrition info and price. Well, you have to buy the best bang for then buck. Buy branded one, then you eat the brand

How is the price of milk there in the Peninsular? The price here is about RM4.85 a litre.

Tesco is generally the place to go for lowest price on groceries, but I tend to browse other supermarkets in case of offers or promotions.
Like in Econsave where I usually buy those Ayamas 1kg / 800g Spicy Chicken for around RM12. Today at Econsave got RM8 per package so I buy two |

QUOTE(myvi5949 @ Jan 6 2013, 02:11 PM) really cheap source of protein for bulking.. Do you know how much carbs content for that 1 loaf of bread? 52g carbs for 2 slices of bread. Imagine just to consume 40g of protein, you had to consume a lot of carbs (47g carb for 9 g protein = 235g carb for 45g protein).1 loaf gardenia wholeweat bread 400grams is rm2.80.. each loaf is 1000 calories with 40 grams of protein http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutritio...namount=100.000 It's cheap but macronutrition wise, nope. |

Sure muak eating so much bread everyday... white rice is high GI..and low protein. |

Breads are high HI too~ Plus they tend to contain alot of ingredients (preservatives, etc) so for my own personal choice I prefer rice. Mind you I prefer a relatively high protein/high fat diet so I have to limit the amount of non-veg/fruit carbs I eat and am obviously bias.
