yup... that another part of the old afhobby boss... not only nendo, he will visit the gundam event and purchase the limited edition gundam and then resell it at higher price at his store...

Just saw this comment. Not gonna buy from them, I dont like it when people sell it at a higher price just to earn profits out of a hobby. Even when I take orders from friends also I only charge them for the nendo+split shipping fees.

My Nendos usually come from Frozen Figure Store - the prices are good, and he doesn't charge shipping either. The downside is that the stock is usually a few weeks later than what you get in XL Shop. However, froz is polite, helpful, friendly and brings in almost anything if you pre-order. Even stuff which has passed the order date can be ordered if you're lucky as he actually brings in buffer stock for things he thinks will be popular.

I also buy from XL a fair bit, as the selection is better than that in Gamers or Toy Garden, but when I see anything I like in the other two I usually buy too. They may all cost more than froz, but, apart from the joy of seeing the figure physically and the intoxicating effect of holding it in your hands before buying, I really want to support these guys as well. If they all close shop, Nendo collectors will be worse off for sure, even if it's just to window shop the physical Nendo before buying it cheaper online. Hopefully buying the odd Nendo from them will keep them in business so that I'll always have a place to hang out and look at rows and rows of beautiful Nendos and Figmas.

I dont mind if people sell it higher for profits, thats just business and how they stay alive like TFM or XLSHOP.
But never, ever do it via unethical means like buying out all products from a supplier and ruin someone's chances of getting their fav nendo.

I still remember that day, fker was wearing an XLSHOP shirt, trying to fool everyone, carrying 50rm notes like bricks.

Agree, as long as they dont overdo it ill be fine, even if the prices are a bit higher like XL-Shop, I have bought two nendos from them as I couldnt find the nendos on AmiAmi so they were my top option.
Hearing the story how he just came in and bought all the figures with 50rm nots like bricks..... If I were there... No doubt they would have been a very huge scene. Im the type of guy who would stand against people who really deserve the shit I can give. Hope I would never encounter them in future Anime Cons in Malaysia or anywhere else..

Organisers and GSC cant stop or forbid cuz its bought under "private" not company-based supplies
