hi guys, don't have any experience with nendoroid before. sweat.gif
Wanted to ask if anybody know where I can find nendoroid Mashiro Moritaka from local and usually how much would it cost? smile.gif

Try XL-Shop in Times Square? I know he's not in XL Shop Empire (because I was trying to arrange the Bakuman nendos together but couldn't find Mashiro), but I do recall seeing him in BTS a while back. He's not a really hot-selling Nendo so shouldn't be too hard to find if you comb the 3 remaining XL-Shops. I bought him from XL-Shop BTS for RM168 about 9 months back, and there was another one on the shelf then.

Hi, sorry if this has been posted here, but I went to Toy Garden in Sungei Wang today, and they had a "buy 2 get 1 free" offer on Nendos. The selection isn't as big as in XL-Shop, but they had a few nice Nendos (including some old ones) there. I couldn't find 3 which I wanted, though.

The offer ends tomorrow - it's been running since 20th December. Good luck!

hey guys, I've looked around a bit for figure shops that sell Nendoroids in KL. Can someone please point out some decent ones that don't sell for break neck prices like XL Hobby Shop, but no counterfeits like that shop on lowyat 2nd floor? Thanks smile.gif

The only physical shops I know which sell Nendo in KL other than XL Shop are:-

Gamers Arena, just beside XL-Shop in Berjaya Times Square. The prices are better than XL, but the selection is quite limited.

Toy Garden in Sungei Wang 4th Floor and Pavilion Tokyo Street. Prices aren't better than XL Shop, but the one in Sungei Wang, at least, has given some special offers - there was a buy 2 get 1 free offer last Christmas, for example. Make sure it's Toy Garden, by the way - the manga/anime shop just adjacent to it sells counterfeit Nendos, although the prices should indicate so in any case.

Time Machine in Berjaya Times Square, level 2 - in the IT Centre section. Almost adjacent to IT Toys. Prices are quite high there, but you have a better chance of finding older Nendos which may be hard to find elsewhere.

Can't think of any others at the moment, but, of course, there are the online merchants, most of whom have good reputations and prices, and many of whom the members of this forum can recommend if you want. The prices are usually good, and shipping is sometimes free. The downside is sometimes they may take longer to arrive compared to XL Shop (I'm still waiting for my Chris Yukine, and it's killing me especially when i can see her in XL Shop), and you usually need to pre-order (i.e. they may not hold ready stock, although if it's not a hard-to-get Nendo they can always bring it in for you, but it'll take a while). The good thing about online merchants is that given the consistent quality of Nendos, not seeing the physical toy before buying is usually not a big issue, unlike with some other toys.

My Nendos usually come from Frozen Figure Store - the prices are good, and he doesn't charge shipping either. The downside is that the stock is usually a few weeks later than what you get in XL Shop. However, froz is polite, helpful, friendly and brings in almost anything if you pre-order. Even stuff which has passed the order date can be ordered if you're lucky as he actually brings in buffer stock for things he thinks will be popular.

I also buy from XL a fair bit, as the selection is better than that in Gamers or Toy Garden, but when I see anything I like in the other two I usually buy too. They may all cost more than froz, but, apart from the joy of seeing the figure physically and the intoxicating effect of holding it in your hands before buying, I really want to support these guys as well. If they all close shop, Nendo collectors will be worse off for sure, even if it's just to window shop the physical Nendo before buying it cheaper online. Hopefully buying the odd Nendo from them will keep them in business so that I'll always have a place to hang out and look at rows and rows of beautiful Nendos and Figmas.

I dont mind if people sell it higher for profits, thats just business and how they stay alive like TFM or XLSHOP.
But never, ever do it via unethical means like buying out all products from a supplier and ruin someone's chances of getting their fav nendo.

I still remember that day, fker was wearing an XLSHOP shirt, trying to fool everyone, carrying 50rm notes like bricks.
But netizens are scary people. Very scary people. We never forgive, and never forget.

My fren couldn't get her figure that day cuz of this *******, had to hunt somewhere else, when the product is right in front of us.

Damn, you mean not only did the scalpers buy everything, they wore an XL-Shop shirt to pretend that it was XL-Shop doing it? That's just sick and cowardly.

I really hope they release all the Rozen Maidens in puchi form as well. Somehow having Shinku and, say, Miku or Saber standing side by side takes away the magic of the Rozen Maidens (although she still looks awesome when displayed by herself). Having the 7 dolls (8 if they include Bara-Shuishou) at Puchi size would make them much nicer to scale with the normal Nendoroids. If they will release the regular Nendos and the Puchis as well then of course it'd be better!

Sorry if this has been reported already, but XL-Shop in BTS did a stock check recently and have put out a few older Nendos out for sale on their shelves. I picked up Ultimate Madoka, and there's still one each of Kuroyukihime, Ikaros and Nymph there, among others. Do hurry if you want them - they've been there at least a couple days now, but I don't think they'll be there for long.

I had to buy a separate external DVD-RW drive just to watch Region 2 DVDs. It's not that expensive, and if you have lots of DVDs from all over the place can be useful. Funnily enough my 2 players are set to Region 1 and 2. Region 3, which is where I'm supposed to live in, always seems to have Region Free DVDs.

Im kinda scared of it now yo, atleast 1 Kancolle nendo per month lol. GSC riding on the Kancolle hype as next year also the anime gonna be released ^^

I haven't really been following KanColle on the game side, although I did like their Weiss Schwarz card collection. I had no intention of buying their Nendos until I saw the boxes in the stores - now I have Shimakaze and Akagi. There's something about them which really makes them adorable - with Shimakaze it was her turrets, while with Akagi it was her eating rice. Wonder what the others will look like when the boxes arrive.
