QUOTE(hihi @ Jun 12 2013, 06:37 PM) i want to start back fishing hobby, plan to buy a new rod & reel.. BC made for casting and luring purposes. most BC reels dont have clicker or sound when line is being pull against drag.will follow my friend with his boat and fishing at pulau indah area.. interested at BC unit, but most of the time play bottom only, with live shrimp as bait.. may i know can bc use for bottom fishing? Hence ppl still uses Spinning gears for bottom fishing. Some Round profile models still suits bottom fishing, Abu Ambasseduer series, or even Conquest DC 50/51 hehehe other BC would be those meant for saltwater,.. like Penn, Avet, Boss hope that helps you |

QUOTE(hihi @ Jun 21 2013, 08:55 AM) This is worth it for fresh water fun, Size 50 is pure fun with 10lbs line and below. Or max 15 lbs. Bring this to snag free or less snag areas,.. sort of like playing with UL gears,.. let the fish fight your drag!!! Fishing to me is not all about getting the big one at times,.. small fishes can give some pure fun too hehehe. like going to EAK with 6lbs line,.. and fight pacu MUAHHAHAH shiok,.. darn it OFD kicking in . Answer is,.. no this size 50 ideally wont be suitable for salt or deep sea fishing. But this can and will serve you well to go with Siakap or MJ Even sotong. |

QUOTE(KepalaRadio @ Jun 26 2013, 12:09 AM) Guys i long time no fish oledi because fishing kaki went overseas, and now he's back. I wanna ask you gais, are there any good fishing spots near Subang Jaya? Sadly,.. nothing interesting near Subang or in Subang. Subang lake occasionally can get PB if you are casting.... saw some uncle manage to land with bait and floaters. Around Subang, there are : Shah ALam Empangan Air Kuning. good for bottom and casting...depends on luck and time of the day Warga Emas Section 24 shah alam Prima lake in Puchong - boating and landbase for PB and TOman Perdana for toman. I dont need a fancy rod,.. i wouldnt mind the plain matt ori black. lesser work
just more particular with the detailing like the tying and epoxy. I am looking for neon green thread something like the Ori MHX color. |

only booth selling reels were :
Daiwa : Hasya joran aka One monster tackle Quantum : Hasya joran also TCE was selling their in house brands like Ajiking, tomman & st.Croix. Kepong tackle was there displaying Megabass products PFM with the full range of Aby Revo reels, lines and new rods, Havoc softies. Sianglin was also selling some stuffs. Over all,.. not quite a caster friendly exhibition, most things on sale was all the entry models and lower end brands. Nothing was really cheap of off the retaqil price when i was there on Saturday, Live wire lures was rather cheap compare to retail, going at 32 and 18. Good to see great competition on Quanum reels, Penang and Haysa joran had the full showcase on the reels. Complete Yozuri lures, decent collection of Luckycraft lures. Sea tackle was there showing off the Fuji KR concept guides and their lure collection. SureCatch world had ALPS guides and rod grips. with Live wire lures. look forward for more booth and participant next year. |
