To answer your question I guess we need to wait till the phone released and hope someone will test it under sudden change of temperature.

But IMO, if the glass indeed dragontrail, I assumed it able to withstand that sudden change of temperature unless the temp is too extreme. Btw iinm the back of nexus 4 wasn't even a gorilla glass thus explained why the glass may crack with sudden change of temp.

Btw I kept asking myself n wonder why most preview I read stated the glass is a tempered glass in general? If the glass is dragontrail, why they didn't mentioned it? There were few preview or article bout Xperia z stated Sony used the drgontrail glass, but Sony themselves didn't say so. I wonder why.?

when comparing the hands on video, the icon is very washed out
as washed out as the icons on my Nexus 7
and it uses the zero gap , the icons should look like its floating, if you get what i mean. One X gives you that feel as if the icon jut out and maintaning its colour

color saturation on a phone is self preference.

got really black (pixels totally off), not so black (the pixels turned down as much as possible but still a little light), and bad bad greyish (evident when they don't bother to calibrate their displays at all or bad design, or i don't know as per TS's logic, misinterpretation)

u say LCD because u watch pirated DVD? got really poor dvd quality. AMOLED is good for black blacks but isn't good for contrast. red is too red, washing out any lighter reds that may be beside those blacks.

there is different types of blacks, those from the Bronx, those from Africa, those from Latin America. (assuming u talking about the crush on black people)

there's still no perfect phone. IIRC the Xperia Z uses some sort of a filter too, with their mobile bravia or some sort of tech to increase contrast in their washed out images. and they have poor viewing angles.
