i dont think we have to compare to iphone...
As far as i know, iphone's advantage is the smoother os which now faces its competitor with android's project butter, the branding it have and apple fanboys..
To me,apple seems like it has already stopped giving surprises it gave last time when steve job is still here...
While android on the other hand seems like they still have rooms for improvement..

I think the competitor xperia z faces is not only note 2 but s4 and htc m7 as well..
M7's ultrapixel camera seems like it might take xperia z's camera down..

well, what you said is right also.
But Demo unit and actual unit have much different?

demo unit is kinda like an unfinished product..its not the production product iinm...
They will still have some tweaks here and there especially software wise..

I'm surprised the Netgear PTV3000 adapter works with the Xperia Z out of the box (no firmware upgrade for PTV3000 mentioned).
*
i think that is because sony developed it with netgear, thus making it compatible with netgear ptv3000...Theres a problem though, cause theres a review saying if you are connected to the netgear with xperia z,you can't connect to wifi for internet..

tat is the whole point of wifi direct  laugh.gif
it connect directly with ptv3000 so u will lose ur connection with modem

thus only u will experience full seed when watching video or during screen miracast
*
iirc,i rmb seeing somewhere in that review saying that other manufacturer does not have this problem, they can connect to the internet through wifi and still connect to the tv...
If this is true then it is a downside for xperia z where we cant stream through xperia and watch on tv,have to download 1st before watching on tv...

In the Chinese review on Mobile, they have tested Wi-Fi direct with TV on Samsung and HTC Devices and no similar issue happen. I hope this is a software issue and can be fixed.

On top of that where can I buy the NetGear PTV?
*
yaya,i read it in a taiwan chinese girl review of the phone iinm.. tongue.gif

Anyway,i also read it in xda that there are rumours that early demo units are incomplete versions of the xperia z,the quality is not so good, and the glue that the factory applied to the screen is not so good which makes the screen have low viewing angle...

The final completed production unit will have a better viewing angle and screen..

Anyone think its true?
