Ya, the KCC papyrus color is a really (x10) bad decision.
First, not all grille suppliers use KCC brand or are familiar with "papyrus" color, so they wont know what the color is unless we show them.
Second, not all suppliers have this color as standard color, thus if we want it we have to pay xtra for it.
Thirdly we cant just use any paint brand, cos not all brands label their yellowish white as "papyrus" and sure there will be tone differentiation.

And like u said, it is a really really UGLY color and does not match with the frame.

In the end, i just eff it and use white.

Got mine from Three Kim Sdn Bhd. Good review and good service, but more expensive.
A colleague highly recommended them so I just went with them.

For the yard, I havent installed any grille yet. Thinking of building a window (with black tint) there instead for privacy.
Right now everyone can look right thru into the dining area if the yard door is open. And if i hang my underwear to dry at the yard, whole floor can see. Really uncomfortable with this lack of privacy.
Still sore over the corridor grille, i remember it was supposed to be aluminium louvre

I wanted to move my current unifi to shamelin star. But tm said shamelin star no coverage, so have to terminate. It is not even on their future list to be at ss.
They said i need to put in a request for unifi to go ss, and need developer to write in to unifi as well for them to consider to put ss on their future list.

Why dont you rent Airbnb and stay at Shamelin Star for a while first to help you decide? Thats the beauty of subsale purchase..
