Hi yfyap69,

Like I have mentioned on previous post, do use ASUS Router APP to setup as AiMesh.

The link I share to you is AiMesh related not Lyra Mesh related.

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1044191/

Thank you
*
If I use Asus app to add Lyra node to an existing Lyra router, can? Or hv to redo every thing in Asus apps as AiMesh?

Hi yfyap69,

As mention on pervious post also, we have stop supporting Lyra Mesh long time ago.

Factory reset the Lyra, uninstall the Lyra APP, reconfigure the Lyra as AiMesh using ASUS Router APP.

Hi, I'm facing some clients disconnecting issue with my router. I'm using AX86U as main router and AX55 + AC68U as node which is on wired backhaul. AX55 is link to AC68U and AC68U link to AX86U. Most of the problematic clients are link to AX55U which is on 2.4GHz wifi as they are smart switch. I do have a lot of clients (80 - 90) which mostly are smart switch on 2.4 GHz. However, I also have 8 IP Cameras which is mostly wired (except 1 on wifi). Looking at the traffic, there are very little on 2.4 or 5 GHz but wired almost 1000kB/s. CPU utilization is low (only 4-5%) but RAM utilization is high (94%). Firmware is 3.0.0.4.386_49599 for both AX router while AC router is on 3.0.0.4.386_49703. Appreciate the help.

RT-AX86U comes with 1GB RAM and you manage to hit 94%.

Do you happen do use any of these function?
Speed limiter
Traffic analyzer
*
No, I don't use this function. If I reboot the router, the initial RAM utilization is only 64% but it will slowly creep up to 94%. I also noticed there are some unusual log on the disconnect client. It says not mesh client, cannot delete or update ip.

Hi yfyap69,

Will the client connect back after the disconnection? Can you share some MAC address of the client that are having this problem? Preferably those without MAC randomizer.

You can try use the binding feature if you think the client is between the router or the node and caused it to always switch between them.

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1046957/

Can you send a feedback at Administrator->Feedback, once done, please PM me the MAC address and the email address used in the feedback.

Thank you

The client sometimes will reconnect back by itself after some time and if not, I will have to disconnect the power and it will reconnect back. I tried setting static IP for this device instead of using DHCP. Seems to work for this few days. No more disconnect. I will monitor for a few more days. If cannot, I will try binding features as suggested. Btw, I was looking at the wireless log and would like to know what does this acronym mean?

PSM: Power Saving Mode?
SGI : Short Guard Interval?
STBC: Space Time Block Mode?
MUBF: Multi User Beamforming?
NSS: ???

Bear in mind, some 4G modem from Maxis might be locked to prevent usage on third party router

Anyone know how to setup Lyra MAP-AC2200 with Maxis? There is no option to change the VLAN to Maxis profile.

Just bought a AX6000 to replace my AX86u. I want to setup my AX86u as mesh with 2.5G port. I attached the network cable to my AX6000 2.5G port then the other end to my AX86u WAN port. When I switch the AX86u backhaul to 2.5G, the AX86u disconnected. How to solve this problem?

Hi yfyap69,

May I know which AX6000 are you referring to? TUF-AX6000 or GT-AX6000.

Can you check whether both the router is latest firmware?

Thank you

GT-AX6000.

Firmware is the latest. 3.0.0.4.386_48377 for AX6000 and 3.0.0.4.388_23285

Hi yfyap69,

Can you try updating the GT-AX6000 to the latest version as below and test again?

ASUS GT-AX6000 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_23285

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless...model=GT-AX6000

Thank you

Just found out there is a new firmware 3.0.0.6.102_21514-136. Use this one? After i make the change in the software, do i need to switch the cable to 2.5g port on the ax86u?

Hi yfyap69,

You can try test it with 3.0.0.4.388_23285 first, which is the same with your RT-AX86U. If it is tested no problem then you can try updating to the latest version.

Thank you
*
Thanks, I had updated the AX6000 to 3.0.0.6 as it has a lot of new feature eg dedicated wifi for kids, iot device etc...Once i switch the cable to 2.5G on the AX86u, it reconnected to the AX6000. Another question I hv is the AX6000 has new feature such as kids wifi, iot wifi...but AX86u and AX55 does not as the firmware still in 3.0.0.4. Does the kids wifi and iot wifi also available on the AX86u and AX55 or only the AX6000?

Hi yfyap69,

May I know what kind problem you are facing? The RT-AX86U disconnected from the GT-AX6000?

And can you send a feedback to us using the feedback feature in the GUI located at Administration->Feedback.

Do PM me your email address used once done.

Thank you
*
Yes, RT-AX86U disconnected from the GT-AX6000. They are connected on the 2.5G LAN. I tried reboot both routers. Looks better now but still seeing disconnection intermittent from the log. Already done feedback using GUI. Will PM you my email.
