Thanks, one last question
From your opinion, is there any different between RT-AX3000 and TUF-AX3000 except gaming port, better port forwarding and gaming mode?
Don't know should I spend for another RM100 to get TUF-AX3000 or not hmm.gif

There was a question on this back then, wouldn't hurt if you scroll back the pages a bit.

In summary, TUF have that EXTRA which helps on gaming like VPN and etc. Hardware wise both have similar specs.

Hi AsusMy,

I recently upgraded my stock unifi tp-link router to GT-AX11000.

Immediately after the switch of router, I noticed that whenever I turned on my unifitv box, the network connection icon would show that it is disconnected and the time(clock) shown was the last time the tv box was connected, for about 70 seconds, as shown in the attachment. Even though I just switched it off and immediately switch it on again.

It was never like this when I was using routers like tp-link, dlink or the stock L7 router long time ago.

May I know is there any setting/s that I missed when I setup the router?

Thank you.

Do check this setting in your router page.

Also, I have been using XT8 for more than a month now. I would say it is really stable and satisfying. No more dead spots and Dual WAN has no issue in causing the router to hang like it did when I meshed up AX and AC routers.

I found out i have an issue with my AX-55 as well today, on 2.4Ghz. I have a mesh (both AX-55) but the node had a problem with 2.4Ghz. Somehow, the LED wont show and it would not connect to my main AX-55.

Factory reset did not solve it. It was on the latest 41700 driver (in fact both of them are on the same driver). Flashed it to the BETA (41994) and so far that worked for me.

I think the bolded driver having issues. I did the same thing as you were and my wifi is fixed. I am using Zen series though.

Hi guys,

I was thinking of expanding my network with my current pair of XT8s. I am planning to add another node.

Any suggestion? Which one do you guys suggest? Tri-band or Dual-band is already enough?

If it's tri-band, should I go with an another XT8? Or should I go for the extreme like AX11000 and make it as a main router? While for another router with dual band, is TUF-AX5400 good enough? Or go for higher specs like AX86U? AX88u?

I will suggest to stick to Tri-Band for the added performance.

The rest will depends on how deep is your pocket.  tongue.gif

Thanks!!

Will try to look for AX11000 or should I wait for AXE11000?

When is that model going to enter Malaysia? @ASUSMY ?
