Hi blacktubi, can you share how to setup the TV box for unifi for Asus router?

I have a old white unifi TV box (from another location A).

I want to use it at another place (location B), this place previously didn't get the unifi TV box but the plan have TV package. I tried to plug in to LAN4 but it seems like it's not plug and play.

Can give step-by-step guide? Thank you.

Unifi TV box can't be shared like this

No idea how you can re-do the authentication and link it to your own Unifi TV account

I see. I guess I'll try asking around before calling TM.

Thanks anyway.

thank you very much for mentioning the router model and the firmware, recently my home internet is unusually slow/white page and I was wondering why

then I checked this firmware release date and is quite recent too and other networking forms seems to have similar complaints for this firmware version and recommended rollback

then I check my router firmware and it is automatically updated to this problematic ver.

downgraded it and internet browsing is normal again

and now I turned off the firmware auto update

Mine had this .(Or very similar) back in September November 24. Noticed strange data spikes from the router itself not from connected devices, internet would drop for a minute or 2 intermittently. Found a rouge ssh process running.

Latest firmware for TUF-AX4200 fixes the issues mentioned above.

Firmware "3.0.0.4.388_33920" changelog: "2. Improved network stability and data transmission performance."

I've tested for a week and no problems anymore. Safe to update to this.
