QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 3 2015, 10:30 PM) Those fans, is it sucking air out of the router or pushing air into the router? You don't want to push air into the router as that will push lots of dust into the router. Thanks, I flip the fan to blow out and now the temp drop further to 64C Attached thumbnail(s)

Jusbella , you key in wrong unifi password. Yes, wrong password also can get connected, just that TM will not allow you to get on the Internet.
If you dont know your password, just call 100.

QUOTE(dotjolt @ Feb 23 2016, 12:51 AM) hey web sifus, I just bought an Asus RT-N12HP yesterday but whatever I do just seems to not be able to get me internet connection. You can see from below: - It says I am connected to the internet - Upgraded to the latest firmware - Green icon (top right) indicates connection BUT at the bottom right, still shows that connection is limited. This is driving me crazy! I'm really out out of ideas here. Somebody please help!! [attachmentid=6030938] You key in wrong password. If you do not know your password, call 100 to reset.

QUOTE(Pocket Aces @ Apr 10 2016, 03:01 AM) Hi Asus Malaysia, I've just bought a RT-AC1200HP and tried setting it up for Unifi at home. I selected ISP special requirements to Unifi-Home and applied the username and password. Upon finishing the wizard, it shows that I am connected to the internet from the Asus UI, but in reality, I'm not connected. I've made sure not to connect to network port #4, since it's for IPTV. Screenshot as shown, please advise. FYI, I'm using the ZTE modem that came from TM. [attachmentid=6346097] On a separate issue, I've tried doing a hard reset using the 30s-30s-30s method poking into the reset hole, but this in the end does not change anything on my router as all the previous settings are still there. Please advise. Check your UniFI username and password, it is wrong. If you open browser you will get the wrong username/password notification.

Hi,
I own a RT-AC68U and how do I create another SSID and assign VLAN600 for HyppTV? Wanted to use HyppTV wirelessly instead of from port 4 wired.
Thanks.

Need help, I notice lately my Asus RT-AC68U 5G signal keep disappearing. I have tried factory reset. I can see it like 1 2 seconds, then it disappear. Try change the channel from Auto, same result it keep disappearing.
Tested with a 3.0.0.4.380_7743 and Merlin 380.67_0. Still the same. What other troubleshooting I can try?
Client I used to scan 5G e.g. Samsung Note 5, Sony Xperia Tablet and Chromecast.

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Jul 22 2017, 08:53 PM) 5GHz network disappears even when tested very near the router? Hardware problem, maybe? I found the culprit, Pakite 5.8g cause massive interference. Only channel 165 is usable. After turn on, all back to normal.

QUOTE(GreenGoat @ Jul 23 2017, 08:51 AM) Hi, I just bought AC-RT5300 ROG router.. problem is after sometime I couldnt detect my 5Ghz signal.. any idea? or is there any setting require? As this router has 5GHz-1 and 5GHz-2, I have tried to disable 1 of them just to see if it solves the problem but unfortunately its not. Try different channel from 36-48 and 149-165. Now a lot of other device use 5G also e.g. wireless AV, some cordless phones.

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Jul 17 2017, 08:08 PM) Not sure if you'd consider it, but let me share my story. My AC68U was also quite hot to the touch. I have it operating 24x7 in the living room with the ceiling fan running. Some time back, I attached a cheap laptop cooler to the router to help cool it down. No issues till now. What is the temperature before and after you put the fan?
