Hi, does anyone here know how to reboot both ax92U router and ax92U node from AsusWRT web UI?

Also, Is it normal for an aimesh Node(Ax92U) to be hotter than the main ax92u?

What you’re facing is a DNS leak. You might need to google how to configure PiHole on ASUSWRT properly.

If the backhaul SSID is showing up, just make sure hide it again from the web UI. Typical AiMesh things.

Perhaps your main unit have better airflow?

1. Yup, pihole as a dns server.... I’ve noticed that the settings only take effect after physically power cycling the router, the apply button doesn’t do anything while it’s running
2. I believe you mean the hide SSID function ?

3. Both main router and node were placed in an open area

Nope, you will lose some functionality when you switch to a 3rd party router.... example, you can only have live TV or VOD working at one time as Astro IPTV uses 2 Vlans

Personally, the compromise is worth it to me, it’s way better than the maxis router, currently using the AX92U...

Even then, need to manually key in vlan settings on the router to get it working since the built in profile is only for internet + VOIP

Switch to unifi business profile then lan 4 would work like Normal Ethernet port

Lan 4 will be for the old Unifi TV box(old Unifi TV box uses Vlan) if you are using unifi home

Hi,, I’m having issue lately With my AX 92U rebooting out of nowhere

Currently running the latest stable firmware for AX92U

Running QOS as well

Hi, is it recommended to switch the region of my AX92U to US and enable 160MHZ for WiFi backhaul between 2 AX92U?

Any drawback to this?

Hi, I was trying to pair up AC68U with my AX92U( ai mesh system ),, was intending for the AC68U to cover a part of my house where Digi WiFi calling appear to be unstable

When I pair up the AC68U with my current aimesh system(2x AX92U) and place it at the dinning room but with the ASUS router app reporting my WiFi phone signal(-86 dbm), my phone still connect to the main router instead of roaming to the AC68U node

btw for uplink should I use 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

somehow with auto settings it would default to 2.4ghz to the main router

Do I need to enable smart connect for 802.11 K/V to work with all nodes(mixed between aimesh 1.0 and 2.0)?

or smart connect is not needed for 802.11 K/V?

Or 802.11 k/v would only work if all nodes and main router is on aimesh 2.0?

under the wan section, set automatically connect to DNS server to no and then key in your prefered dns server
