Hey guys, I'm not too sure whether this has been posted/allowed to be posted but does anyone know where I can download Ipad mini movies/tv series? Thanks! smile.gif
*
iPad mini can playback H.264 MPEG-4 up to 1080p codec videos. You may drag and drop most of the new downloaded content that's encoded in H.264 MPEG-4 into iTunes and sync the videos. If you sort the video nicely, (list them under Movies / TV Shows, rename title, add album art), it will appear beautifully in your iPad.

If you wish to transfer non-compatible codecs, you'll have to use any of the many video converters available.

Hope this helps.

It's working! So do you let it runs till battery flat EVERYTIME then recharge it back or... it is normalized now?
*
Not every time. It will shorten your battery's lifespan. Once every 2 months is fine to recalibrate your battery.
It's recommended to recharge when it hits the low battery warning.

Just received my Mini today, and been wondering, can we adjust the video resolution captured from 1080p to 720p?

If using default 1080p, 1hr of video recorded took almost 8GB
*
No. You'll have to buy the 64GB model brows.gif

well guys helo there. im planning to buy a mini tab and the main purpose is to read novels and light surfing. is ipad mini reader friendly?
*
As an ipad mini user, and an avid reader, I must tell you that im loving it!! I read a lot, novels, journals, magazines, and my ipad mini is a great companion for me..been using it for reading when im on my bed, on the couch, and on the move..trust me, you wont regret it..

If you want to read kindle-type books, then you can download the kindle app...other than that, the native ibook app will do just fine.. smile.gif

Edit : i owned an ipad 2 before, and i found that it's too heavy and bulky to hold and carry when i hold it in my hands to read on bed...so ipad mini is really a great device for me smile.gif

Agreed. Can't stress how great the iPad mini is on the bed. It's the reason for many late nights and mornings, all for the wrong reasons biggrin.gif

Can any new ipad mini member share here, is the battery not charge to 100% issue still persist?
Of course I do hope the new batch they change the adaptor, instead of purchase it, and go to charge it again.

Hope some new ipad mini owner can share the info. notworthy.gif

mine, received on Thursday, no problem on the charging and average usage 10hrs per charge.

Only the wifi is not that good compared with my late iPad 2. Also sometimes text-field always got block with the keyboard

Thanks for the reply. Good news then. rclxms.gif May I know you purchase online?

The meaning of wifi not that good is in term of signal strength or speed? I experience before is same distance from the Wifi router, my laptop can get almost full bar signal or only 1 bar to full, but I try another tab (non-apple product), can't even connect, or after connect not stable, I need to be quite near to the router only can get stable wifi. sweat.gif

Yup, ordered online, and yup, wifi is not that strong compared with ipad 2. Before I got full bars in my room, now max only 2. Downloading apps also slow (but this might be the cloud servers).

I got mine within 4 days..but i think it's on case to case basis..might depend on stock availability, engraving as well as delivery location..and sometimes there's delay in the clearance process.

yes i suppose it is too hot. last time i tried charging in aircond environment and it doesnt seem to have that problem. however i think it is a design problem, coz i use my ipod charger which has the same output rating in the same environment and it manage to charge the ipad to 100%.
