Hi Galaxy S III white user here.
I want ask it is normal for my S III to take 4 hours to fully charged?
I find it long.

But if I turn it off, it can fully charge in 2 hours 30 minutes..

when you switch off is normal time. but when normal charging not. maybe cause by coverage, or used the phone while it was charging.

if you not using it, and no coverage problem, it might be something wrong. but i have faced this kind of problem and the cause is coverage. when coverage not so good, 1 bar or 2 bar, it takes long time to charge the phone and the phone become hot.

Factory reset will solve the problem. . Remember to backup

I am also facing a similar problem.. besides this my phone will hang when trying to end a call, or open the phone book... is this a beginning sign of "SUDDEN DEATH"
