happy new year dude. although that 'happy' i guess can't apply to you here. sorry to hear that. you didn't use any casing? screen is not covered under warranty. you can read it, it stated there that it doesn't cover cosmetic damages. so it gonna cost you around 500 to 600+. It can reach 700 if you're unlucky. Better send to samsung center if you wanna retain your warranty. but gonna take longer time. fast is 3 days. long would be 7 days. can be longer than that as well, if you're unlucky, depend on stock parts availability.

i just sent mine last friday. also cracked screen, but the touchscreen can still function 100%. still waiting for it to finish. mine costs around 520. hopefully in this week can get it back.

just checked my wife's hardware version. red s3. bought at the same time with my grey s3. she's 1.4. so glad to see that. hopefully is the same as her, or at least not 1.1 happy new year everybody.

i'd say thanks to my protective casing. yep cheapo that i got free from buying the phone. but still it protects pretty well, considering the fact that my phone fell from the bike, chest high, while travelling at 30km/h. dropped on my peha first, the straight to tarmac.

after this when you repaired your phone, better get a protective casing. i'm saving money for kraken ams right now. got one supplier here in lyn with awesome price.

that's why casing is also important. it gonna help protect your phone from those accidents. mine for my own stupidity, riding motorcycle yet so busy with navigating around google maps.

as in it gonna protect your phone from physical harm. not completely, but it helps. instead of direct hit to your phone, the casing will receive all the first contact damages. if you prefer the one that looks cool, there are a lot out there. even the leather casing with flip cover also help. for me i'd go for extreme casing, such example is this.

i also want trident. but specifically kraken ams blue la. although my original concern was protection. cause ballistic hardcore like in the picture is 5 layer protection. highest so far that i've known. but then again if keep on dropping phone, might as well use 3310. haha where did you bought your trident case?
