I live mainly in Thailand and the S3 is 2,200 RM there. Worth buying in Malaysia.

guys, d u have problem with browsing photos in gallery?

i always got mine hang, and it exited by itself. every time.

i only have about 1,000+ photos inside... shouldn't the S3 be able to handle that much thumbnails?

it can handle, try clearing gallery data, so that it rebuilds the gallery

or try quickpic app, is better and speedier in handling images

OK I am a noob at this. What do you mean by no telco support blush.gif

I am thinking buy the phone, slip in a Thai sim and off I go. Would there be a problem with this.

menu-> system settings-> application manager->"all" tab-> find "gallery" -> clear data

since u from thai, why dont buy from malaysian border state near thailand, it's closer and easier to manage services

I live in the North of Thailand which is a looooong way from the Malaysia border. I am in KL for a day next week so thought I would pick up an S3 whilst I am there.

The gallery as in via gallery app should be fine.

Probably you're seeing hangs in apps like whatsapp or other apps that is using the gallery to do things like upload pictures or share.

Hmm. Using the wall charger? Or are you charging with pc/laptop? If you use pc/laptop then 4 hours is normal, but if wall charger, go to sc change. Not normal.. Normal charging time for wall charger is around 2 and a half hours only..

Sawadee Krab! Since you will be for 6 hours buying from Samsung is the best but you have "Phen dee" in Malaysia you can ask them to send you to PGRM for RM 1699...
