Sorry to hear that. When I go out to such events I carry a few phones I put in a bag and hug the bag.
Usually they target u means they already spotted u and your phone quite sometime di
Perhaps they already spotted from afar...all it took was only 5 mins and the phone is already gone...too much crowd in front of pavilion, with people spraying 'snow' directly at your face...

did u put it in yr back pocket or front pocket? gf handbag oso not safe due to snatch theft and slicing.
Added on January 1, 2013, 2:48 pmit's at the front pocket, but they might have notice it because the pocket is not tight enough..can easily slip their hand in...gf secured her tiny bag by hugging it tightly, so they could not do anything.

Sorry to hear that. Did you register your Note II in Samsung account before? If yes, use Samsung Dive to track your phone. If you have install Cerberus in Note II, it is even better that Samsung Dive.
yeap i registered samsung dive, but too bad they can only detect if your sim card is in the phone. My gf tried to call , the first time able to get through, but failed to get through already after the second call. I think they switch off the phone on the spot.
Did not install cerberus...

When to Samsung to at least get the warranty cancelled/void, but was told it is not possible to do so even tho I have the IMEI number.
