Tried only allshare, never tried DLNA

Android beam or NFC cannot transfer music to one another is it? Tried yesterday but cannot transfer lol.

Isn't AllShare via DLNA?

Related but not the same thing, if I'm not mistaken. DLNA is *supposed* to be a universally compliant standard but I've not heard many good things about that. Allshare is a Samsung standard that uses WiFi for transmission. DLNA maybe too, but perhaps signalling different.

When using AllShare, is there a possibility to switch off the screen while streaming to the TV ?

It seems that in allshare, the screen will go off for movie streaming. Some people wanted both screens, and VLCplayer allows that.
For game playing, both screens will be on.

use any file manager and go the backup folder and delete all the content

how come when I stream using AllShare to my Samsung TV my GNote 2 screen does not switch off?
It does not show video play on the GNote 2 but just a patch of grey indicating that it's streaming.

what kind of backup u did ?

using the vol up + center button + power button config den choose backup kind...

Added on December 31, 2012, 10:38 ambro thanks for the advice... but inside the folder i browse only got 17MB... but when i copied out to my PC is 2GB++.. the folder that the backup go to was clockworks something... still new to android... @_@

Why does the display H+ with arrow change to G with arrow sometime at the top of my phone.
I experience H+ give me smooth conenction flawlessly while G seems to be slow.

Added on December 31, 2012, 10:52 amjuz put ur mobile networks to WCDMA only if you are in good signal area to get 3g min and h+.
unless u r in a low coverage area, put it to GPS.

for your Q, its bcoz you are putting it on Auto, hence it will change around from G to H+.
