It seems that in allshare, the screen will go off for movie streaming. Some people wanted both screens, and VLCplayer allows that.
For game playing, both screens will be on.

hmm seems you have a sleepless night yesterday heh tongue.gif so how about the sync rate? will it be off-sync horribly?

guys, i always felt left out.. no one actually entertain my post..  cry.gif  same goes in s3 thread. i think i should quit this discussion thread. everytime post also no one bothers to give a simple reply(not that i crave for any replies).  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif
*
reasons:

1. your questions are like top 1 in faq.

2. thread moving too fast.

3. lizard is more attractive.

answers:

1. hissing sound is common among us but i don't face it (not sure if i shud happy or worried). if u are afraid of any explosion scenario then go line up and ask for exchange.

2. rooting? read first page.

3. sd card is totally up to ur usage and preference. 16gb u can sustain in s3 then normally in note2 also sustainable. unless u suddenly got new fetish and new bluray collection *ahem* to put into phone and watch in ultra clear and vivid 5.5" screen.

Final chapter in the Chronicles of The Allshare Dongle:

1. You need stock rom (can be rooted and deodexed)
2. You need Triangle Away to set counter to 0 and status to Official
3. You can flash a custom RECOVERY (Philztouch successful)
4. You CANNOT flash a custom kernel.

Looks like it detects AND 2 conditions:
Your counter is zero, and your kernel is stock.

I conjecture it has to do with securing the allshare transmission stream due to DRM...
*
ok imma flash stock kernel on omega rom and do a nandroid backup. then if anything goes wrong jz flash the stock rom deodexed rooted biggrin.gif

Erm, the battery draining issue is pretty critical. Lost 5% in 25 minutes. laugh.gif

So now back to stock XXDLL5 but I think it is still draining but not as serious as earlier encounter.

What could be the reason eh? I don't recall having such issue when I was on leaked 4.1.2. I'll go back to leaked la if like this. laugh.gif
*
if even full wipe also cannot stop the draining then probably u shud bring ur battery to ssc and check d.

How is this phone "SILENCE" a call-in ?
I mean someone call in & I don't want pickup & also don't want to Reject it. I only wants it silence the ringing portion & the caller side still ringing...
How do I achieve this while my old nokia phone able to silence it with 1 button press only...

Btw, my old post asking anyone know here is selling the original car charger? I need to buy.

Thanks.

1. vol down as per suggested by cynox

2. turn the screen upside down. (enable the turn to silent motion first)

3. press power button to off screen.

thanks for the confirmation.  For the sake of using the Allcast Share dongle, have to revert back to stock rom as per Joytest experience.  Flashed mine with the pre-rooted LL4 rom he suggested, which can install chinise by additional download.  Thinking flashing my wife's note II to the latest Turkey LL5 instead.

btw, you flashed it via PC Odin unrooted, then root it later?  or there is already a pre-rooted version?  Lazy to do 2 steps lah.  tongue.gif

prerooted stock rom to flash from odin.

yup, got the same link after i google it but the latest one there is LL4.  i am looking for the latest LL5.  biggrin.gif  anyway, nvm if dun have, just need to do another simple extra step to root it.  flex.gif

edit:  oppss.... forget about the odex/deodex version.  I think i need the deodex version.  hmm.gif
*
is there any significant differences between ll4 and ll5? hmm.gif

anyway cynox mayb u can try flashing the stock kernel thru omega files in omega 9.1, then run triangle away and test whether allshare works. i can only test it on saturday sad.gif

already tested Omega 9.1 with stock kernel and run triangle away before i turn to stock rom as the last resort - no go.

i dun think there is significant between LL4 and LL5, just that since i am flashing now, of course must get the latest available.  tongue.gif

Thanks for the effort to bring in the Allcast dongle to us.  notworthy.gif  It is much more convenient than the MHL adaptor, especially for gaming.  thumbup.gif

if omega 9.1 wont work then i reli wanna cry cry d. but well the stock rom is already good enough cry.gif
