i got superb speed when browsing / download when it is H+ and sloe when it was G. As they say is 3.5 Generation and 2nd generation with diffierend upload /download speed.

Anyway i will stay with Auto GSM & WCDMA.

launcher shouldnt affect that, I think she should go to setting to enable the auto-popup when one pulls out the s pen.

Tested Redpill v1.0 on Monx rom 0301 since yesterday. All his settings taken at default and did not bother to tweak anything. Happy to report battery drain is better by about 1-2 %. Example last night , over 7 hours with 3G actively on , wifi off, gps off and with FB notifications, email , tweeter refresh in background battery drop was only 2 % ( i think is less than 2 % as battery level stays on even after an hour without use )  vs 3-4% on Perseus 29.1 kernel

how bout try this rom??
been using it for 3 days and manage to get around 30 to 40% from 7am (100%) until 6pm

usage:
brightness = auto
network WCDMA only
data always on
browse using dolphin browser approximately 15 min every hour or so until 6pm
from 7am till 6pm, watch movie for about 2h to 3h in total
gaming for alittle, about 1h to 2h in total
so the total screen on is about 5h to 6h

using redphill v1.0 with medium UV

*highly recommend to install bravia engine if u were to watch movie from gn2.

just go to the cpu_uv tab and -25 for each frequency
from wat i believe, nvr UV too much as it will stress the cpu

lately my battery juice drained quite fast, checked on BBS, partial wakelock,
a lot on Audio_out 2 and Media Scanner thingy, how do I stop/reduce them?

For Audio Out..nothing can be done.
For Media Scanner..once it finished scanning it will stop. If you reboot or power off the phone..once you power on then it will start re-scanning again.
Sometimes a broken thumbnails or corrupt files can make your Media Scanner keep on scanning non-stop. Only way is force closed it and start removing that broken thumbnails or corrupt files.

If u wanna stop media scanning , download " REscan media root " from play store to enable or disable it . However u must be rooted

bwahaha..quit worrying too much bout battery sis. I stop looking on all these details stats long ago. The more i tried tweaking here and there..it only made thing worse. Somemore i'm not good at tweaking. Better leave things as it is unless you know what you're doing.

audioout_2 , audioout_3 , are mostly caused by a few things . 1 is not properly close music player . another could be lock screen sound , keypad sound etc ....... Just google it , there are alot of examples given but no actual answer . As for mediascan , just install and disable media scan . Quite troublesome but even more troublesome to search 1 by 1 . Sometimes , like my case , its the pic file from whatsapp which is corrupted .
