Sentral is just an MEP. They will not entertain you if you got it at a different center. Usually after you walk out its to the SC for you as the only option. Sad but true.

It's the signal type indicator. G means you are on 3G (or was it GPRS???). H = HSPA. E = Edge. 3G=3G I think. I don't pay much attention to that since I'm usually at H+

You can but I don't advise it. It's not meant for it and it could snap with a little stress. Better to get a type of hard case and mod a hole for lanyard.

I don't think it is, since it is evidently flimsy. Strap holes are usually built into a solid part of the chassis.

KNS....when I plugged it in it kept dropping connection. I thought it was monx rom having some libs removed. Then I flashed normal rooted deodex, still gave me the same problem. Finally asked uncle Google...

Pair the allshare cast dongle with a BT keyboard and mouse, you are actually all set for your device as a full blown desktop leh....

Any particular link? I was skimming thru xda, there were negative comments, but largely coz Samsung doesn't seem to know what to do with it yet.

Like I said, throw this in with a BT kbd and mouse, and Polaris Office, you're all set... I'm playing a bit more.

Yes I was reading up. Seems like a coin toss for now.... looks like really down to the fact that Samsung does not know how to properly position and market this thing yet. It's a pretty great device though for my needs. I am not an AVphile so I am extremely tolerant of glitching etc.

Apart from the rooting thing, I've had mine connected for about 1 hour now, no problems so far. Later try to play NOVA and see how it goes. I'm working on night shift the whole week so will have some time.

NFC Secure is not a lockscreen. It’s a supplement to your current lockscreen. Once you pass your lockscreen and enter the actual device, NFC Secure kicks in. When this happens, you are 100% locked out of the device, no way to get past it, even with a reboot, unless you have your key.
