have you ever wondered if the problem could be d battery? like a lemon battery

i am experiencing that 5% drain when browsing for 25min too...but that time i was on monx-r4-v1 with NEAK 1.3 kernel.

beginning to suspect that as well...but as far as i remember...i only get to experiencing when starting with 4.1.2 custom rom...but...i hesitate to go back to 4.1.1 la..hehe

if u browsing through 3g then it's normal to loose 5% per 25 mins (1% per 5 mins) which mean you can get total of 500 mins of screen on 3g browsing which is 8+ hours isn't that normal? 

I only know browsing through wifi will save you abit more... 

anyone flash the latest LL5 Turkey stock rom?  just want to confirm whether it come with option to install chinese input?  Or most official ROM now can do that already by default.

thanks for the confirmation.  For the sake of using the Allcast Share dongle, have to revert back to stock rom as per Joytest experience.  Flashed mine with the pre-rooted LL4 rom he suggested, which can install chinise by additional download.  Thinking flashing my wife's note II to the latest Turkey LL5 instead.

btw, you flashed it via PC Odin unrooted, then root it later?  or there is already a pre-rooted version?  Lazy to do 2 steps lah. 

alamak... how can i forget the mobile odin way.    thanks for the reminder, will flash my wife Note II currently on Omega 9.1 back to stock rom with mobile odin pro. 

one of my Uni buddy (from KL too) also not chinese educated but know some chinese language.  I think his mum send him to tuition out of normal class during primary school.  He is currently working in Beijing, China.

they using a different dongle with some setting u need to change.

4mbps is normal but in city area can reach 8mbps like bukit bintang area.

finally i flash back stock LL5 rom..still prefer stock rom than custom rom..mybe stock rom is great2 already..

yeah..stock rom is far2 better i think...and personally i dont like keyboard with full of symbol like that..

Me too i'm still on Stock ROM. And i think the juice consumption quite ok. Lazy to really observe by numbers but i think u guys are quite paranoid about battery. Okay certain ROMS and customizations might give a little difference, but it couldnt be too much. For me i just prepare myself with powerbank, car charger and spare chargers in office. If the battery life gets shorten in any ways..

I did it and got it to work      on the stock rom. And oops it was XXDLL4, not LL5. Still, it's 4.1.2

Owh.. ok. No idea it can be that critical. Cuz u complained about battery almost everyday already    Peace yo no hard feelings..

interesting enough that i also tried several DLL5 ROM and the battery doesn't last longer than the previous one.

ok Guys...i have a bad and a good news. I think it should to be shown and, of course, better verified between all the OP'er.

The bad news is XXDLL5 drains something between 30% and 50% of battery more than XXDLL4. The good news is that I found why my Note 2 operating time would reach only a little more than 1 day compared to medium of last 2 months of 2 days and a little bit more, using it more or less always in the same way...

It's 4-5 days I'm trying many differents ROM XXDLL5 based....at the beginning I believed it was happened something...I tried everything: all the guides of battery calibration using each kind of "voodoo" procedure, using calibration software, battery wips from CMW etc etc...formatting system,data, preoload, cache, system, supermegafactory wip etc etc etc...tried many kind of kernel, settings, I checked the "deep sleep" with batterystats etc etc....but nothing to do.
Battery drain was inescapable.
Until (following one of the Tamirda suggestion) I tried to come back again to on ROM XXDLL4 based (the exile rom) and the battery drain stopped.

I flashed XXDLL4 at 8 o'clock p.m. After the first boot and the app configuration I was at 10%. Now, 11.30 p.m. I'm already at 10%!!!
With XXDLL5, It didn't matter which rom or kernel or other I would had, I lost 3-4% each hour...

So I pray you Tamirda (and I will try to advice all the other OPer) to consider this problem (it's strange that only me and a few people seem to have battery problem in the last days with XXDLL5).
I am absolutely SURE (I was going crazy) that samsung will realize XXDLL5 firmware rom base has this bug.

Oh ya , i remember someone mentioned that MAXIS's LTE only support broadband and not phone line for now . Am I correct ?

A while back , as I am using prepaid MAXIS , i accidentally click on broadband instead of mobile data . I can still use the broadband package for surfing but the APN need 2 change .

then why Maxis redirect that link from their LTE 4G site
