I wouldn't mind a bit smaller  tongue.gif

I think a lot more expensive, a 16" Michelin XM2 can easily cost RM450+ per piece. sweat.gif

Why Mugen more suitable? My car also exposed to hot sun for long hours almost every day  sad.gif
*
bro...upload ur picture of your car and see? drool.gif

wa..no necessary michelin XM2 gua...can go for others brand also wat...
if u wan to change to a smaller ones...rims also a factor...design of rims which bring out the total weight of the tyre hence it affects ur fuel consumption and Etc...hitting the fender or not is due to the stock springs...i use 16ich rims..205/50/16r with Eibach springs...everything seems okie...no hitting fender or anything...jus that u slow down on bumps and uneven roads

I found it in JB  around RM2.2k, not really sure. I will post the pictures by tomorrow. Available in modulo, mugen, and mugen rr. Three types. You may search online also maaa..

Well, i travel to sg work daily, sure take better tyres to get comfortably. PS3 is my first choice but cant fit. Thats y go for xm2.

Change to Eibach spring would not void the warranty?
*
hmm...well lots of service center would make a big fuss about it but the one i went to didnt at all...well my warranty is over liao so no difference..haha...

well i havent venture into michelin yet but so far i know yokohama is a reliable ones...also in the high side...about rm380 per piece for 205/50/16R...still considering my next set...now still on NEXEN6000..not bad...sport comfort...

Well the modulo PP i found in KL is about 1.1k +/- with paint and 3yrs warranty.....its not easy to find mugen or mugen RR here...if got also they not PP ...i dont know about material but all i know they said PP is the best...is that true bro?...

Grip on dry, during raining not too bad but not as good as PS3.

Also, tread habis quite fast... almost 18k mileage on it left approx. close to 50%...

BTW, for spring and absorber has anyone change?

Can share what are the damage likely?

Example (Not adjustable type):
1. Original parts for Honda
2. TEIN / Eibach / GAB

Which ones perform better any comment ??
*
Hmm...i heard michelin is very quiet and comfortable but the tread wear is very high..for honda city the springs option quite alot but for abs no much option...for spring all i know is that Eibach and H&R is available...Eibach is quite comfortable and the drop is just nice...on the softer side thou..H&R is stiffer and the drop is fierce..try google to see the difference...quite happy with the eibach coz its not too uncomfortable..nice drop...and it wont cause ur stock abs to spoil...as for the performance side..every sport springs will do their job given its a known brand but the difference its the comfort only

I thought XM2 should last quite long according to Michelin. I'm using a cheapo Yoko Adrive R1 now.. already drove 25K on it, I think still got like 40% - 50% thread. It's a bit hard and noisy, maybe that's why.

Got sport spring that focus on comfort?
*
Not really focus on confort...i mean comparatively to other springs...different stiffness wat...of course most comfortable ones are the stocks....

Hmm...yokomaha Adrive the sides are flat...its harder compare to the rounded sides... but the good thing is when cornering its more stable...its more on sport...round edge is softer so it wont be so bumpy but when corner it will it wont be so accurate as it will compress more....thats wat the tyre guy told me...yokomaha more to performance so its design that way...i think michelin is the best d...but big hole in my pocket...

that's y, i heard all positive feedback from this oil.. CERATEC cost another bottle of engine oil, but this for 50k once right? so what say you; 10w30 or 10w40?

so you planning to visit kakimotor to change engine oil?
*
Erm...me long way before i change...got a few Thousand left...yea will go to kaki motor..their prices are competitive and they are the official distributor...bro ceratec is consider cheap compare to torco friction reducer which cost rm90..which the effect will fade off after the 1st few thousand kms...hmm...go for 5W30 or 5W40...not much difference but higher the End value the thicker it is when hot..better protection but heavier throtter...ask the guy u wana get it from..see wat they say?

*
Minor oil and other change is not too expensive but when it comes to parts then yea its quite pricy...good thing is there is no such problem they cant handle..in my experience...other i dono la..haha besides now the latest city comes with 5yrs warranty...better then when i got it, 3yrs only

5W30 is full syn bro.. no MOS2 some more.. biggrin.gif i got 3k left for next service.. lol..
i'll try semi-syn 10W40 as the shop selling this oil dont carry 10W30. the mech said due to our hot temp now, 40 is the best choice. quite trustable shop, all car servicing there are bmw and merc..  brows.gif
*
Oh...bro i dono about liqui moly but all i know semi or fully syn they all come in all range...maybe for torco only...yup that mechanic is true..in malaysia we dont really see the lower value...see higher coz we hot weather so need higher protection when really hot...some say 30 better for "racing" lighter coz oil not so pekat..

Erm...wat is MOS2? Haha i haven read up about liqui moly..dono what base they using..

Try and get the E if you can afford it, the extra features is really useful especially the traction control.

Or better the E+, got lcd screen, reverse camera, leather seat and tinted sommore brows.gif
*
Honda city got traction control? Just wondering coz mine is the s spec..3yrs old d...or the new honda city only have? Haha

Try to get the higher spec as possible..the loan will equally distribute the amount rather than save and have to fork out a huge sum to upgrade it later yea? Wish mine has leather seat...

Did the both of you manage to get the extra grounding cable from the SC?

i have the same issue too, first complain they check the battery loading, said ok, next service go they said the grounding, so they add a tiny cable from body to battery

then next service, said my batt loading low, so i changed to panasonic batt, yet the issue still there, i went back complain, they said honda malaysia knows this and begins shipping out this thick earthing cable and installed, 3x piece batt to body, engine cover to body and another location ...

now the cranking issue very less, but like is when we off engine, the gear stick not pushed to P, as in we kill off the engine while in N or something la ... i also malas wanna monitor edy

Haha aler bro, nothing wrong with that what. Haha.  biggrin.gif Give it a try, people will give way to you on highway once they saw the red emblem.  tongue.gif
I can't give 100% confirmation as warranty is a subjective issue and differ from SC to SC, but earlier they want to include air filter in the list of stuff to change, but I don't them no need. They didn't say anything about it. I'm pretty sure its 95% okay to replace the air filter but if want to be safe, keep the old filter in the boot. If you want to send for warranty for engine related issue, just pop in the old filter back in. (unless you''re really unlucky they found out about the filter then nothing else to say.. haha)

BTW I think the original Honda cost RM89 or something. Have to replace every 30k or so.. might as well get the K&N. Just need to clean and re-oil, should last practically forever.
*
as a matter of fact honda has no choice but to warranty you even u are using K&N filters...somehow the K&N company has ties with the most car manufacturer and like winterwish said depends on how "gui lan" the SC is....some of them are really A**hOle..however when u are recharging ur Filter with the cleaner and oil, DONT oil it too much as it will cause ur MAF sensors to go haywire and thats when honda will find fault with u having the filters and not warranty it...other than that i shoudnt not be a problem... icon_rolleyes.gif
