Settings>Check update will not work.

Only can use Nokia Software Updater to flash your phone's ROM (all your personal files will be formatted during ROM flashing process, prepare necessary backup)

Successfully installed amber. Now exploring. Do backup before you swap the ROM.

Someone posted the dl link of NSU for retail before, not sure on which page, but here's another I got from another source

- Update to 3.0.8 (I'm using that currently, login name is not needed)
- Plug in your phone and it will automatically detect any update available

Amber is code name for Nokia's phone firmware update.

Firmware =/= OS Update (GDR2)

Nokia Choose to bundle Amber update with Microsoft GDR2 update for their Nokia Phone.

So this Amber update is exclusive to Nokia Phone only.

Samsung will release their own update with microsoft GDR2 update soon.

many are too excited !! please read carefully before you hit the proceed button !! some user sudah kena riao (kesian) update protico over protico (all data wipe)!!

NSU ke , NCS ke.. if the tool allow your to update doensn't mean its AMBER!! read carefully escpecially the if firmware version 1232.5957.1308.0008 its PROTICO NOT GDR2/AMBER!!!

-One of the new feature includes double tap to wake.
On a side note, ISO max is still 800. Amber's 3200 cry.gif

You should already have it really, since ISO3200 comes with Amber. sweat.gif

On a side note, since we already have 925 and 625, which is the "5" slim range, will we be seeing 825, 725 and 525? hmm.gif
