I have not gone to the service center. Malas actually because I hate leaving the phone there. I suspect they will try and fix it and not replace it. I'll give it a couple more weeks and then I'll send it in. The plan is to reproduce the heating issue and let the Nokia Center people hold the phone baru diaorang tahu how hot the phone can get.

Mine only occurs if I surf the net using 3G and if I use UC Browser (even with Wifi). Does not happen when I make calls (then again, I don;t spend more than 10-15 minutes on the phone, most of my calls are short and sweet.

Good (well not good ... but at least it's not my CPU problem). I have a suspicion that some app really pushes the enevlop with regards to the CPU usage. UC Browser is awesome in terms of speed. I mean, going back and forth (I love the back/forward button ... MS, are you listening?) was instantaneous. But I guess as you mentioned, it comes with a price ... the CPU becomes super hot and the battery drain is incredible. I bet that if you continouosly use UC browser, you can drain the battery in 90 minutes easy. The CPU heating up also takes a toll on the battery life even after you close the app. I have had to switch on Airplane mode and then shutdown the phone and after 5 minutes, the CPU will cool down and in that 5 minutes of cooling off period, the battery would have drained another 5-6 percent.

I find this a teeny bit annoying. When you reply to an email (or compose a new email), there is an attach button where you supposedly can attach documents. What I found out is that you can only (using that particular button) attach photos and nothing else.

The only way to attach a documents (say PDF/Word/Excel Documents etc) is via the dedicated app where you can "share" the files. But this will be problematioc if you need to reply to someone as the share option will create a new email.

Also, can anyone confirm that you can open and edit Office documents (not editing PowerPoint) that is saved in your phone (via drag and drop from Windows Explorer, email attachments) BUT you actually cannot create a New word or excel documents straight from the phone?

That is just annoying.

For the life of me I cannot find the + button. Do I need to setup Office 365?

True true .... too long with iOS mehhh .... heh heh heh. Still the attachment thing is a bit annoying. Still in iOS you can't attach jack shit (unless you jailbreak and buy the Cydia AnyAttach tweak) ... so email in WP8 is still miles ahead.

Same with UC Browser. Another app that can toast your Lumia 920. So if you're cold, just use the app and the top half of the phone will warm up like hell one .... I stopped using it after trying it twice.

Ask them to change the blinking board. Nokia ni kadang kadang keras kepala one .....

But I do notice that if I on the 3G (or highest connection speed), the signal is not as good as if I just use EDGE.

Contacts can be transferred from any Bluetooth enabled phone to a WIndows 8 phone via the Transfer my Data app. There is no need to transfer it one by one, you just need to run the app and enabled BT for both devices and it will get all the contacts from the Android phone in one go.

Maxis does mentioned that maximum speed is 75 Mbps with average speed coming to about 20-30 Mbps. Not too bad I guess with 12-13 Mbps.

Wouldn't that delete all the chat history? The new ones have a backup function but I have no clue how to restore the backup. Has any tried it?

Ahhh ... that is cool then, meaning it has saved the backup somewhere in the phone where it is not deleted when the apps is uninstalled.

Yeap and if you go to here.com, you can add some stuff in your collection and it will syncronise with everything on your WP8 phones. Awesome.

720 uses IPS LCD scrren (super sensitive that you can use gloves etc), looks to me 720 has better specs (other than RAM) as compared to 820
