Hi guys,
If you're looking for a vet to bring your pet to, don't ever go to Yeoh's Veterinary Clinic at Taman Megah PJ. I've been to their clinic for over 7 years and I go there twice in a year for my 3 dogs' annual booster and every time I see a new doctor/trainee/junior, so that would be around 14 new faces and I don't think any of them are Dr Yeoh. These new faces are mostly here for temporary training and 99% of the time are not supervised by senior doctors.

The second thing would be the overcharged medical fees. I've been charged RM200 for ea annual jab/one dog (aka RM600 per year ++ not including consultation fees). Recently I tried Hand n Paws (PJ) and the consultation fees+jab is so much cheaper. Yeoh charged RM200 for the cheapest 7-in-1 jab whereas Hands n Paws charged RM70 for the 9-in-1. According to HNP, the 7-in-1 should only cost less than rm50.

Another overcharging fact: Years ago one of my dogs had cherry eye and Yeoh quoted RM1k+ for the treatment, another vet that my friend recommended quoted RM400-500

I am satisfied with Hand n Paws and will definitely recommend them for their reasonable charges and also for their doctors who take their time to explain to us owners about our dogs.

FYI, charging rate for each clinic is very much different.. those expensive places sure charge more la..
But RM70 for dog's 9-in-1 vaccination is quite pricey though... here I get it for my dog at RM40 only

how do you find dr. dev service?? although I been there for a few time and had quite good experience, just wanna be sure before changing my dog's doctor to him, permanently...

Main reason is because his clinic open every day including public holiday. Once I pop by to try my luck on Sunday late evening around 7pm+ to get some deworming tablets for my dog, ( so late, tot he closed dy), was surprise that his clinic is still open! biggrin.gif so would prefer that I can still pop by on a sunday ( nonid to rush) and in case of emergency during weekend/ public holiday, at least I know where is the nearest clinic that open until night..

Oh ya, I heard from a friend who also went to Dr. Dev clinic, that his clinic is providing a complimentary house call service to clients in bandar kinrara with minimum amount spent... brows.gif brows.gif wonder whether this news is reliable? thinking whether to get a house call service instead of bringing my dog over on a rainny day whistling.gif whistling.gif

Service is good. I like the fact he called personally to get my details a nd i was surprised he has an online system so that you can check and keep track of your pets medical records. And yes he did announce recently on facebook that he has house calls service but i think for kinrara residence and t&c applies. Didnt specify the t&c though. I also love the fact he opens on public holidays also.c

the three injection is VACCINATION
Price depends on which type of vaccination you choose. got 6-in-1, 9-in-1, 10-in-1. PJ or KL area will hv to ask other forumers for their personal experience. Mine is 9 in 1 @ RM40 in puchong, kinda far away from your place.

Hi,

I want to bring my shih tzu boy to have a blood test to find out the reason of serious hair fall.
Please give me some suggestions which Vet is better, and how much it usually cost for a blood test.
I am staying at Setapak.

I always suggest dr dev at kinrara vet centre. My pug had serious allergies and he help clear it up. Plus his fees are reasonable.

I just went to a vet in Seri Kembangan yesterday. I think this vet is not in the list on page one yet.

Here's the address of the vet:
St. Angel Animal Medical Center,
No 1-1, Jln Equine 9,
Taman Equine, Bandar Putra Permai,
43300 Seri Kembangan.

They treat dogs and cats mostly. But they did take a look at my guinea pigs. The doctor even showed me the mites under the microscope. So all in all they were professional and helpful.
