Hey guys, I have 3 large dogs (Thai Ridgeback and 2 mongrels) and I usually bring them to the PJ Yeoh Veterinary.
I'm paying RM200+ for vaccination booster RM100+ for heart worm vaccination at every visit for each dog. (meaning total up to RM900+)
Is this price normal for large dogs? I feel that they are very overpriced, do correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks.

Hi guys, If you're looking for a vet to bring your pet to, don't ever go to Yeoh's Veterinary Clinic at Taman Megah PJ. I've been to their clinic for over 7 years and I go there twice in a year for my 3 dogs' annual booster and every time I see a new doctor/trainee/junior, so that would be around 14 new faces and I don't think any of them are Dr Yeoh. These new faces are mostly here for temporary training and 99% of the time are not supervised by senior doctors.
The second thing would be the overcharged medical fees. I've been charged RM200 for ea annual jab/one dog (aka RM600 per year ++ not including consultation fees). Recently I tried Hand n Paws (PJ) and the consultation fees+jab is so much cheaper. Yeoh charged RM200 for the cheapest 7-in-1 jab whereas Hands n Paws charged RM70 for the 9-in-1. According to HNP, the 7-in-1 should only cost less than rm50.
Another overcharging fact: Years ago one of my dogs had cherry eye and Yeoh quoted RM1k+ for the treatment, another vet that my friend recommended quoted RM400-500
I am satisfied with Hand n Paws and will definitely recommend them for their reasonable charges and also for their doctors who take their time to explain to us owners about our dogs.
