That's just the way the law works.

If no prior permission, even if 1 person complain, MXXX is obligated to come and demolish.

Same thing happen to my taman. One guy doesn't want to pay, went complain to MXXX kaw-kaw, and MXXX came.

Lucky they still open to nego (we got cable guy), gave us time to properly apply for permission. But can only block 1/3 of road, and iron bar must always be open, can only lower between 12 - 6 am. Cannot stop people from going in, can ask nicely 'sir where you going' only. Guardhouse must not in any way obstruct flow of traffic, even a bit also cannot.

Good thing from that is developer (big name) then gave promise to built nice guard house.
But until now 2 years aledi nothing yet. No janji.

Moral of the story - get permission and follow T & C. Get the developer to be involved.
Won't be perfect G n G, but better then no G.

this episode

looks like MPSJ act for pengadu
1. who are the pengadu, 1,2,3 or few hundred
2. if 1-2,3 vs the majority that has no objection, is it fair to just act for the minority
3. are those not paying?
4. sick for those want to enjoy the service without paying
5. will we see mroe and more guard house kena tear down, due to 1-2 pengadu ?

Majorities' wishes must always be followed and the minorities' wishes must be ignored ?

If that's how it works, then everyone here have to go to study in National school only, and cannot eat chee yuk.

yeah, housing community always follow majority.

For this issue, I suppose the main point it's due to the community is not a strata community, so as long as there're quite a number of people complaint, authority has to take action, or else it's like always rules & regulations but never enforce .. perhaps they should've settled it internally before this

I didn't read the full news, just my 0.2 cents

Education or food or whatever, it is the same thing. You cannot force upon people. Everyone's individual right must be respected. Cannot just follow majority.

It's this same "concept" that people have (as you) about "majority", that's why everyday our country got people making noise.

You think when you eat Chee Yuk you are not affecting the majority meh ?

Another of that "majority" theory !

Too bad, that's not how MPSJ works.
