I got the impression every single ebay/paypal transaction that I need to do, I 've to call up Maybank.... now that's a major pain in the buttocks.

I've requested ta a period of window to be opened (few days to a week) last month, but not allowed now?!!!

Just wanted to share my experience.

When I tried to make a payment to my MBB2 card - AMEX, I enter the payment amount as shown in statement by M2U, but the MBB system show there is error message. I called CS and they told me that's a new balance (after rebate) I have to settle. By paying correct updated amount thru M2U,I have successfully made a payment.

I wondering maybe your statement balance is not as per their "updated amount".

Not ok CDM also have this error, of cos CDM u need to over pay mine is about, IINM is 778.XX so must pay 780 since I got cash rebate, I need to pay 770 but now after key in card no straight transaction not allowed....

Hi guys, as we know the credit limit for the MBB2 cards will be share with both cards which is 5/5, can we request and adjust the credit limit to 6/4 or 7/3 for MBB2 cards??

Anyone exp this before?? 

Is it??? I through the card can be spending only within yr each card of credit limit??

So, based on your mentioned above, this is great to know that can spend within the both card CL (10k), but not each card of limit (5k).

What I concern is that we could be utilize the reward point or rebate from Amex card due to the Visa/ Master only reward 1 point per RM1 spend. So, if the place that can be swipe for AMEX but unfortunately your Amex card has excess the limit, therefore, can we request and adjust the limit for Amex card is higher a bit?

Thanks for the further clarification, want to confirm it again since it's too good to be true that no category limitation for the CB. I've read the the Hong Leong Wise CC thread, which the category clarification is very important that if you wrongly selected for spending, you may end up with RM0 CB, that's why want to further clarify it .

I applied last week thursday. Because I'm usually really busy I requested it to be sent to my office. Last Tuesday I received SMS that my cards had been approved, and my Maybank2u interface shows a new tab for cards. However till today I haven't receive my cards and worried that any fraudulent activities might occur. Called the CC agent and she said she'll check for me, later she called back saying it's been sent out on Mon, wait a couple days more.

Is delivery period normally this long?

I just gotten off the phone with MBB CC officer. These geniuses sent the card to my address on my IC. Awesome. Now it's sitting at some faraway collection centre. After filling that form I reminded them again to sent it to my work place. =.= Now have to wait for redirection and another couple of days. Geez.

These cards wont be activated until I activate them through M2U right?

LOL @ MBB's customer service. May I know how long have you waited for the card to be delivered? I requested for an upgrade and I can see the new cards appearing in my M2U (already approved, I guess), just wondering how long would it take to deliver the new cards.

Just a little update. After I called them and request a redirection, the cards did NOT arrived as per the given time. Today I called them again and they suggest I collect from the nearest MBB branch, and wait for 7 working days. OMG! That's like total of 2weeks plus after card approval.

Maybank called me to update my profile.

They wanted my company general line.

I was surprised with that call. They called me office number.

Ya, kinda funny to confirm that you yourself work there. 
They didn't ask who is the one verifying on behalf of your company?
Like that can give any number and the applicant can answer the call and verify him/herself. 

anybody able to ask MBB to waive GST thru call??? I don't want to use my points to offset

From experience,

One still needs to call MBB call center if you wish to waive your GST with Treatpoints.

It wouldn't waive automatically unless you instructed.

oh even thou i already paid last month still be able to use treatpoint to pay the government tax ?
i thought once i paid, i can no longer use treat point to waive the government tax.

a bit of update on other members mentioning that they had trouble paying using Amex in Paypal, last saturday i made a purchase at Groupon SG and managed to pay using Amex through Paypal.  No issues at all and SMS came in within a minute after the purchase

PayPal can accept Amex already? Good! Always had problems trying to register it. 

i book a hotel at Agoda at 24th March 2013(sunday). however, i check the transition date is at 26th March 2013. why this kind of thing happens?

my last year pa 31k i apply the credit card but they rejected me... maybe because of my ccris or ctos bad record? because previously i owe 2 credit card debt total of 7k now clear and close one card left 4k outstanding balance...

apply two times, two times also reject me.. i wonder why they so lcly >.<

Do we need to call Maybank just to have our AmEx card linked to PayPal?

I tried to confirm my card and I keep receiving this error message:
"The Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable. Please try to add your card at a later time. We apologize for this inconvenience."

Not sure if it's due to Maybank blocking it?
