To your question, depends on which Hash Chapter you join...
There are 3 types of Hash Chapter:
1) Only male Hash chapter (They are really rough, and run like hell)
2) Mix gender Hash chapter
3) Hash chapter that consist of adult & childre/teenager

Just go for the Hash Chapter that suits you...

Hmmmmm interesting question...... if in terms of toughness, I believe bukit tabur is okay for beginner , as long as you are reasonably fit. It can be done in a day, and quite accessible, therefore if you think you can't make it, turn back. no problem.

Just a thought, many incidences have happened in Bukit Tabur, therefore, please be safe. watch where you step, don't hurry and make sure your brain is wired correctly during the climb... no fooling around at the dangerous sections.

fitness, well you yourself should know how fit you are. if you train many times a week ( swim, bike , run , gym), take part in marathons, etc, You could say that you're fit. But if you have never exercised regularly and climbing one level of steps makes you loose your breath, then probably you are not so fit.

before embarking on any outdoor treks, I would suggest that you be reasonably fit, as you will enjoy the scenery and trip more, instead of being breathless all the way, cramps and sore legs afterward....
