But I have not seen the SLIM EX and EX before so I can't differentiate them by just looking at the width.  sad.gif
*
The difference is just the outer rim width (the coloured part). For me the slim ex series look much more nicer. Also if u noticed SGP dun sell the normal ex series d for iphone 5

I have both slim and non slim for Neo Hybrid. Both are equivalent good. Discolour or not discolour is not an important matter. As long as it provides a good protection to the iphone, it serves the purpose already. We can't expect things not to get old. smile.gif So put it on your phone today to protect your phone and enjoy your phone without worries.
*
Yap i agree. Whatever case u buy or however tough the case may be, it will definitely get old from wear and tear unless u constantly baby the phone which actually defeats the purpose of buying a case =)

above 200 Original , below 200 imitation
*
Not always true. Below RM200 can be original bcos direct import frm china, which makes it have 6 months warranty only. More than Rm200 most probably is because distributed by Mobile Dot Com, local company which provides 1 year warranty.

It would be nice if it's small. I can just put in my handbag. Went to machines at gardens. Saw a small cube power bank priced $129 & $179.

I'm going to window shop more on this. I'm a 'slow' buyer as it is.

Added on January 1, 2013, 1:22 pm
I only need one charge for the moment. Then I think add a bit more $$ can get double the power. Size wise as long as its small should be fine.
*
Go for yoobao lor. If u duwan too big dun buy the 13000mah instead go for the 5500mah then the size would be smaller =)

Well it depends on each individual's taste , Otterbox cases is designed for rugged use for your phones, so most of its design are not meant to flaunt the I-phone 5's design rather to give it decent till almost complete protection.

The problem is that we have to have a balance within 3 main elements of protection, size, & design, when it comes to choosing most cases, as we only can have the best of two elements at a time for most cases and one has to be sacrificed.

For myself, I am paranoid about keeping my Ip5 scratchless and flawless, thus protection is my main priority, secondly I do not like thick cases as I hate the bulge and additional weight it gives to my pocket and phone. With these two points as the main priority, design has to be sacrificed for my side, as a good protective case look big and ugly at most of the time. Thus, the otterbox commuter series  is the most suitable for me, it gives adequate protection with its 2 element casing ( rubber inner and hard outer casing) which meets my criteria however, design is sacrificed as because of the protection I required, the two layer casing hides the beauty of the anodized back and only reveals a little of it.

Again this, is just my own view and does not apply to everyone.

Cheers mate!

Use lifeproof lor. Got design, protection and size

I have seen it before drool.gif Really awesome, but at the moment still a little pricey for my budget. Will invest in one for my second I-phone later. Can it fit with glas.tR?
*
Lifeproof got 1 layer infront of the screen. Even if can use together i think will slightly affect the touch sensitivity

Anyone knows what is width size of the lightning cable hole for spigen casing? Planning to buy Slim Armor or Linear Metal series.

Coz I'm using 1pcs ori & 2pcs 3rd party lightning cable at home, car & office. The 3rd party cable 'plastic' width is 9mm, just want to make sure its fit before buying the case...

thanks!!
*
The 3rd party cable looks exactly like the original cable or other shape d? If looks exactly like original cable i dun see why it cant fit in the sgp cases =)

Ya, my 3rd party lightning cable white plastic width is 1-2 mm bigger than ori. But still not sure it fits spigen casing. Any spigen user??

The SGP casings have a slightly bigger cutout for the lightning connector (around 1mm i think). Not sure if it will fit ur OEM connector

I can't manage to take the pic of my scratched glas.tR but i can 100% guarantee its definitely a scratch there and its only visible if under direct lighting... i guess probably scratched it when its in my jeans... luckily its just the glas.tR that has been scratched... if its my Element Case then i'll be crying for sure  doh.gif
*
Thats the function of the glastr, to take the hit instead of ur iphone. Ur EC also supposed to take the hit before ur iphone leh so dun cry if ur EC got scatches all around. At least ur iphone didn get the scratches

QUOTE(fik92 @ Jan 9 2013, 05:57 AM)
Mod-3 Radius Aliminium Case

Talk about a unique concept for an aluminum iPhone 5 case. Mod-3's minimalist Radius case for the iPhone 5 is the G-string of all aluminum cases. The concept behind the Radius is that it's designed to cover up less of the iPhone 5's design, while protecting every critical contact point. The Radius's unique and lightweight aluminum exoskeleton design covers very little in order to prevent any potential signal loss caused by the metal material, whilst maintaining the original design of the iPhone 5's brilliant thin construction. Each corner is lined with anti-scratch lining that'll provide vibration absorption. As much as we like the ultra-thin design, we fear the Radius will pose an uncomfortable grip with all of its industrial exposed metal screws around the back.

If you're interested in the Radius case, it's now available to be pre-ordered on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter for $59 in polished silver, cyan and red anodized colors. Kickstarter backers of Mod-3's Radius case will have the choice of choosing between a polished silver aluminum X frame or a matte black (slate) finished aluminum X frame.

I dont think that it is worth 59$ for a case like that. Ugly and weird.

Dont think so because of the alignment, its because of the jelly button is so thick so basically u hav to press the jelly button all the way to its bottom then only u'll hit the actual home button, so troublesome i removed it n now thinking whether wanna put aluminium button or not..  hmm.gif
*
Put the aluminium home button. It is worth it smile.gif
