I have both slim and non slim for Neo Hybrid. Both are equivalent good. Discolour or not discolour is not an important matter. As long as it provides a good protection to the iphone, it serves the purpose already. We can't expect things not to get old. Well it depends on each individual's taste , Otterbox cases is designed for rugged use for your phones, so most of its design are not meant to flaunt the I-phone 5's design rather to give it decent till almost complete protection.

The problem is that we have to have a balance within 3 main elements of protection, size, & design, when it comes to choosing most cases, as we only can have the best of two elements at a time for most cases and one has to be sacrificed. 

For myself, I am paranoid about keeping my Ip5 scratchless and flawless, thus protection is my main priority, secondly I do not like thick cases as I hate the bulge and additional weight it gives to my pocket and phone. With these two points as the main priority, design has to be sacrificed for my side, as a good protective case look big and ugly at most of the time. Thus, the otterbox commuter series  is the most suitable for me, it gives adequate protection with its 2 element casing ( rubber inner and hard outer casing) which meets my criteria however, design is sacrificed as because of the protection I required, the two layer casing hides the beauty of the anodized back and only reveals a little of it.

Again this, is just my own view and does not apply to everyone.

Anyone knows what is width size of the lightning cable hole for spigen casing? Planning to buy Slim Armor or Linear Metal series.

Coz I'm using 1pcs ori & 2pcs 3rd party lightning cable at home, car & office. The 3rd party cable 'plastic' width is 9mm, just want to make sure its fit before buying the case...

I can't manage to take the pic of my scratched glas.tR but i can 100% guarantee its definitely a scratch there and its only visible if under direct lighting... i guess probably scratched it when its in my jeans... luckily its just the glas.tR that has been scratched... if its my Element Case then i'll be crying for sure 

Planning to, after CNY. Just scared I screw the install up. But then Glas.tr doesn't come with a back protector  Actually kinda like the naked phone, but accidents always happen.

Dont think so because of the alignment, its because of the jelly button is so thick so basically u hav to press the jelly button all the way to its bottom then only u'll hit the actual home button, so troublesome i removed it n now thinking whether wanna put aluminium button or not..
