was reading up about it earlier. seems pretty impressive. but it wud be good if we can hear reviews from anyone here that has tried it personally. bro i dont think its that cheap. besides, i dont think its sold in packs? it has got to go thru certain process to 'seal' your phone. mayb the one you saw is something else.
i saw liquipel being sold during the last pc fair for RM140 per phone, IIRC.
I have liquipelled my iphone it cost around rm180 if i not mistaken. They have a hq at glenmarie there. U have to buy a voucher then go there and service ur phone, but i went there directly and got it done without buying the voucher. It took around 2 hours to get i done
Can u share with us what actually they did to the phone?
Do they opened it? Will it become scratch resistance as well ?
Erm cant say bcos i juz pass the phone to them, then they bring behind counter and apparerntly they put it inside some box for treatment. They do not open the phone. U juz need to take out sim card
So do they twst it or provesd to u that its now water resist?
Well not really. They juz dropped one dot of water on my phone to show that now my phone is more water resistant. Can see that the water dun really stick on the phone d, the water juz slide of the phone easily.
Go for shatterproof sp. Non glass sp. feature at the CES
I dun understand all these reviews. They will test the products with knives, hammers, blades, etc etc and all no scratch. But when we end users apply it on our iphone, sekejap saja got scratches. We are more terror than those reviewers I believe even though we apply these kinds of SP we still need to jaga our phone, not campak here and there

Thanks for the heads up. Really long time haven't tried wet application since my last iPod. Thought that it has something to do with the film type.
For me, the bubbling up around the apple logo and iphone words look more like a design cos it bubbles up quite uniformly around the logo and words. Kinda nice actually haha
Tried using the jelly button provided by the glas.tr package but removed it in less than 5 mins as the allignment was not right, kinda difficult to stick it after the glass tr has been put on.
Had to remove it with some force due to the recessed space & as others mentioned, there was some sticky residue but managed to removed it with alcohol swab & cleaning with a microfibre cloth.
Those of u who are using the aluminium home button with the glas.tr, is it easy to stick the aluminium button after putting in the glass protector? and after removing is it reusable?
Use cellophane tape and stick the button on it so that easier to align it on the phone
Based on the YouTube review on their site, they managed to abuse it like a lunatic but still looks fine.
Well to be fair, glastr is advertised as scratch resistant not scratch proof. Also normally the scratches are caused by fine particles (sand, etc) not by those shown in the review videos. No need use blade or scissors, juz take a very very small rock frm the road side and test sure got scratch d
Anyways im using the glastr for its nice feel and screen protection compared to normal sp
Btw, are u using the aluminium home button with or without Glas.tr? A lot of ppl is using it with glas.tr because it looks better as it is flush with the glass. Anyone can share how it looks without glas.tr? Does it looks weird?
It doesnt look weird, but if u use without glastr, u might accidentally press the button when in pocket or using flip cases as the button is higher than the screen level d. Same problem with jelly home buttons.
FedEx will pay on your behalf first, but you need to pay them before you are allowed to get your item. If cheaper courier like USPS, have to go Customs and pay/collect on your own
Erm but can appoint poslaju to take for ur behalf?
I wonder why my order from switcheasy last time didnt get any tax from custom.. but total only RM405 and they using fedex international priority.
What if I use this kinda case for my ip5, is it still cover under warranty if i ask any authorized service center to change for me? anybody here have experience in modding like this before?
If u open ur phone, ur warranty will void, that includes changing the back piece. But normally ppl will keep the original casings so that when wan to claim warranty change back the casing
yea.. what if when it spoilt then i change back into original housing and send it for warranty? can they detect? its only housing and didnt touch any main part at the board unless just to screw it back..
Can, but be careful when opening the screws so that got no sign if u opening the phone
is SGP cases good guys? compared to those cikai rm15 ones.
im affraid that the cases are made from plastics , not leathers , plastic worth that much? :/
SGP cases are actually made of plastic, not leather =). Only a few SGP cases are made of synthetic leather such as the illuzion and ultra flip while the crumena and valentinus are made from genuine leather.
Most of the cases come with SGP screen protector so the prices are quite fair and worth it =)
