how many titles did u purchase on the same order? maybe waiting for titles to be available, then only ship out? probably that is why it is despatch late i guess... in my case, there's only 3 titles in my order where one is a lightning deal item

Remember they don't bill us until it ships, so technically , they are legally rite - anyway, we have the option to cancel..
at the back of my mind, l tink they know we won't cancel cos we got a gud deal..

the item (or one of the items) in your order must be 'out of stock' and only being shipped when available... i dont think they forgot to ship out, only to realise a month later

sorry bro, i have no idea why my post was posted twice. so far i have ordered Jurassic World, Star Trek TNG complete, amazing spiderman and mummy trilogy. all shipped out. i just wondered whether i have missed out any other good deals which are not in lighting deal.

No only slow, their even sent to wrong address. They sent one of my parcel to Perak but my address is Sarawak. Today I complain to Amazon but still no respond yet.

what!! divert so far...? luckily u had tracking, for me never use that premium shipping... and if that happened to me, i'll never know then...

Actually I chose standard shipping but Amazon upgraded my order to expedited shipping. Maybe because I ordered books and 2 of my orders, all automatically upgrade to expedited shipping.

Just now CS replied me said that they will full refund the price to me without offer replacement. Luckily, CS give me one gesture of goodwill, they ask me to use fastest shipping method for my new order and let them know the order number, then will waive the shipping charges. So, I pick the 2 same cook books that currently ship to Perak together with another cook book which weight about 11 pounds. Save me the shipping fee for about US$70.

But my actual saving is only about US$40. This US$40 is the standard shipping fee for my miserable parcel currently on the way to Perak.

I am wondering, if I inform that shipping agent to change destination from Perak back to Sarawak (their website do provide you to contact them in case you want to change delivery instruction), will they do so for me or not...

there you go..lose the exchange rate for nothing...
should ask for replacement instead..

I hv had bad experiences wif othr online sellers - refunds take weeks if not months.. n tis is those tat have been returned and not lost.. AMZ is de best alrdy..

it really depend on luck when speak to AMZ CS..
if you get a good one, you will get good services..
if you get a bad one, everything also will be NO

I beg to differ.. My experiences are :
When I started ordering from AMZ.DE [Germany] n I were to ask for any favors - answer is always NO....
eg ask to add titles to existing open order - answer NO ;
ask to cancel multiple cps of a particular title , even thou' it is added [wrongly] by their own CS guys/gals - answer NO = ask to receive [and then return unwanted copies] or not receive [so tat package will be returned]
but lately [after about 2/3 mths] all questions/requests mostly entertain..
I tink they have a SOP - new customers have to fend for themselves ; older customers, they'll entertain..
At least for AMZ.DE .. la

Yes, I also think Amazon still the best online store. They refund me more than full price of that lost order. Because for that order another CS already give me US$8.30 credit caused I forgot to apply promotion code when I check out. Yesterday, when another CS full refund the price of that lost order, he forget to take into account for early credit US$8.30.

For new order, they refund me all the shipping fee as their promise, which is slightly more than US$100. The total weight for new order is about 10kg.

But Amazon have slightly changed their policy, when they said their will refund me US$8.30, they actually didn't refund, instead they credit to your Amazon account for your next order to utilize.

talk about the credit...i not sure there is expiry or what..
i remember i have US$15 credit but when i check out this time, the credit is not there..

Yes, I also hope Amazon can refund me instead of covert to credit in my account even though I will lose some in exchange rate and bank charges. I also no sure how long the credit can last.

i'd ask for replacement if my order has a discounted / sale item that i won't get on normal day prices!

if one year ago maybe i wont be too calculative, but these days with the ever weakening ringgit, few $$$ is a lot..!!! the last round when i applied for Prime to order some stuff, i forgot to cancel subscription so amazon charged me $99 and although they refunded me, i lost quite a bit on exchange rate for nothing

oh ya, maybe we should ask customer service about this. in my case before, i have forgotten that i have a $5 credit due to my earlier order arrived too late. so when i checked out about a year later, i noticed there's an extra $5 discount...

Sometime should not too greedy. I just re-ordered the cook books that lost in Perak and add another cook book (although weight 5kg), now Amazon told me my parcel stuck in Customs at Sepang.

I really surprise about the speed of delivery this time. I just place order yesterday night and this afternoon this parcel already reached Sepang.

Anyway, since Amazon didn't collect tax from me, if any tax incurred, Amazon will absorb it.

Just found out, my parcel still in US. Customs in Sepang probably just receive the information about what parcels are coming and they already pre-pick my parcel for inspection once my parcel arrive...
