amazon is screwing its customers, now Jurassic World (normal edition) is back to $10! and both JW & Furious 7 which were on lightning deal yesterday now price drop to the same as lightning deal.... what the effing is this..??

no, i'm not. i managed to grab the furious 7 lightning deal for 9.96... and now that title goes for 10.00; which is the same.... the thing is, if i'd knew it will be this price sans lightning deal, i would have not woke up at 5.30 in the morning!!!

i applied for prime myself, because few months back when i want to make order on certain titles, it require prime.... but you can easily terminate that anytime.

I have said numerous times - litening deal is not wrth it as

1. we need to pay shipping - which means a new per order shpping charge of $5
2. waking up at an ungodly hour just for wat - a few bucks less..

Now l only go for regular sales title .. but most important must wrangle for free shiping..

i agree with you but then again what is important here is planning, bro.... if you just aimed for that one particular lightning deal title; then it is not that worth it unless the deal is really dirt-cheap... because as u said it, it will incur the shipping fee even with one item in cart.

so this is where "planning" comes into play : you pre-fill your cart with your fav 'sales' titles that you already planned to grab during this sales period and by the time the LD comes, you hit the check out button immediately-lah! then it really will benefit you....

the waking up at odd-hours i guess is the exciting part of BF lightning deal because u r trying your luck against others...!! so far it benefited me bcoz the items i bought during LD are really cheap and i cant get those prices during normal period unless there's a glitch on amazon's pricing system! ive been doing this for the last 4-5 black fridays and all have been worth-my-while but to each their own the meaning of 'worth it'....

my only issue with what has happened with the Jurassic World BF lightning deal of this year is... if it can be sold at that "price" during the "norm" black friday sales period, then don't put it under the "lightning deal" item; as it will confuse the audience...

next time u should compare to walmart price as well..
usually amazon will match the price in walmart, target, best buy and etc...
