hmmm i dont have problem with speedo's pricing on blu-rays nowadays even before this sale price... but it's the product that was manufactured over here that i'm a bit sceptical... is it good enough if compared to region a usa? surprisingly i'm not too worried about its PQ and / or AQ, but the disc / packaging / printing quality....

since it is RM50..why dont buy one and make a comparison?

no need to buy, one look and hold the product oso know no mood to buy...

the most important is the picture and audio quality..
u can buy own casing to replace the inferior casing..

nowadays i felt the casing from US also look flimsy and easily break..

you are right regarding PQ and AQ is above all else but as i mentioned earlier that is not my actual concern... the packaging that i'm referring to is not necessary the casing alone, but the printed sleeve; slipcase etc... that the local one lacks. having said that, i really love what they did for avatar steelbook... that one really good quality!!

you are lucky, my BF order estimated to arrive last december 15, until today none has arrived... i have emailed the CS earlier today, it has already been three weeks... i'm not complaining too much or make this a big deal but just have to report to them for their future reference.

i'm thinking of developing a simple website/app that can compare prices for blu ray movies. I had a quick chat with maskedchan through PM and was suggested to ask for comments or feedbacks in this thread.

the idea is for any given movie title, the website/app will search and list prices from different amazon region sites (ex. US, UK, Canada, JP etc). it gives users a quick eye view of where you can get the blu ray for the best price.

what do you think? will you find that useful?
